UEFA CL/EL/ECL Qualifying games

Glentoran were drawn against TNS in the ECL qualifiers today. They'll draw 2nd qualifying round tomorrow. Glens have tweeted tonight that UEFA have confirmed that no away fans will be allowed at any qualifiers.

Baffling given the UEFA travelling circus on our screens currently, that fans of 2 UK teams are prevented from attending a game in 3/4 weeks.

Would suggest also that our Q3 qualifier in August will have no away fans either then.

We need 3 from 4 - Zagreb, Olympiakos, Young Boys and Red Star - to be knocked out at this stage for us to be drawn as a seed for the Playoff round. Highly unlikely, but, fingers crossed they get some tricky ties.

Are they both in qualifying for the EL? Whats the likelihood of them making the group stages of the ECL? The majority of the names in that list would annihilate the pair of them.

Aberdeen and Hibs cannot be seeded in the Q3 draw. The draw for Q3 is made before Q2 is over so any drop outs will have to come in Q1 and there are not enough of them playing in Q1 to lose and move either up.
The only way they get an easier tie is if the seeded team they are drawn against loses in Q2.

It is similar to our position for the PO round. While technically we could be seeded we need 3 out of 4 to lose in Q2 for that to happen, see post 24 by @uddingstonbluenose

Don't think so, they could lose all three of their qualifiers and be out completely. Not impossible, the conference league play offs have some big hitters like Spurs and Mourinho's Roma if they end up there.
