Posting all those daft photos of training yesterday using medicine balls instead of mitres looking very silly now. Maybe taking training more seriously would prepare us for tough away fixtures like this.

Very early days here, but at the very least this should be a clear wake up to players and fans alike that we're not going to walk to the title this year.
Exactly it’s going to a long long season and will drop points. It’s annoying to be losing but it’s all part of football and people need to get a grip

Easy to read too much into these things but I have to say Gerrards pre-match comments to Sky about riding out the first 20 mins are frustrating. We should be able to run all over the top of this mob. Giving them 20 mins where there hopefully shoot their load runs the risk of giving them and the crowd further confidence

This mob must be exhausted with the constant chasing us down. Plenty time to get a goal but we still don't look like scoring even though they're tiring.

We’ve been poor all throughout pre-season (bar Madrid) and now taken it in to the past 3 competitive games.

When does it become an issue we talk about?

Have we literally no other ideas than go down the right out to Tav to cross it in for them to easily clear it away?

That fucking sums it up. Gerrard's been lauded for not needing to shout or bawl. This team needs it.

This is much more like SG's first two seasons. Lots of possession, no goals, give away shit goals, and drop points where none should be dropped.

We desperately need a midfield player who can link midfield to attack.
We've not had one of these for years barring a short period pre injury Arfield.

Lundstram isnt going to do that job. Davis isnt these days as he is being more efficient with his efforts and Kamara is a game breaker who doesnt get into the box.

Its a glaring hole in the squad.

As well as a very young and inexperience United side, who hardly got a touch of the ball last week against Aberdeen.

There is a lot to be concerned with and the feel good factor for this season has gone already and we are not out of the first full week.

The Dundee UTD wage bill is only £4m when ours is about £43m.

We should be playing them off the park with how much more money we spend.
