14 years since a Rangers penalty at the piggery

In the 1% chance we get one, who takes it?

Tav has missed a few lately - I am sure he would step up, who else would have the bottle?

Noticed that prick Cowan making penalty to Rangers comments the other day in an article which was about his dad being in hospital.
As usual, was trying to be funny, but again, as usual, just attracting attention to himself showing him up to be an insufferably boring cvnt in the process.

Our last penalty at the piggery was 2010, when Kirk Broadfoot was fouled. The peasants then intensified their intimidation of refs campaign, resulting in an unprecedented ref strike in the same year.
Collum awarded it?, then was hounded for months

So his old man is in hospital but he still finds time to have a dig at us?
Yes. I only clicked on the story as I actually thought it might have been something interesting as it was something to do with his dad leaving his house to him and his sister when he goes. Should have known better by now that it was just his usual shit meanderings. And he made sure the Rangers 'quip' was the final sentence of the article so that it would stick in the reader's mind, especially if they're none too wised up to the blatantly contrived narrative of Scottish football.
Like his mate Cosgrove, a complete and utter wanker of an individual. For some reason some people on here think he's a good guy
He's a tit.

Its not just about the lack of penalties awarded at their stadium its also about the very generous fouls committed by them v yellow card ratio, its about Rangers being on the end of the most overturned VAR decisions, its about them being awarded the most penalties etc etc. All the above in one season would be remarkable but when it happens every season and Rangers sit back and take it then we have a major problem.

Collum's first OF game.

A young, up and coming ref and pretty decent one (in Scotland anyway) up until that point. Awarded us the penalty and got death threats in the aftermath.

Been a fucking woeful ref ever since he was "got at". We've never won a game against them when he's been the ref since that day.

Incidentally, later that season at Ibrox Anthony Stokes jumped into Steven Davis(?) in the box and was awarded a penalty by Craig Thomson. Similarly "controversial" but little fuss made. Shagger made the save anyway, so %^*& them.

Willie Collum was described as " the best young upcoming ref in Scotland " by Shug Keevins until he gave the penalty against Celtc in 2010. He then became a marked man in the media, where there was a negative story about his refereeing every other week until he was eventually demoted. That was his warning for future Celtc games.

Records are their to be broken, hopefully if we are attack minded a penalty comes our way on Saturday

We know the media steal stories from here, but so far there has been complete silence on this issue.

have we actually had opportunities to get one?can't think of many obvious ones

Anyone else also remember thinking that Walsh was one of the better refs in the country even though he is allegedly one of them?

Then he gets a mention at their AGM and suddenly...

We've had 3. Albertz miss in a 1-0 win in March 2000, Billy Dodds scored in the 6-2 game in August 2000 and Miller in October 2010.

We were cheated that day too.

Had we had VAR Sutton’s opener would’ve been ruled offside.

But after losing 3 goals in about 10 minutes we grew in to the game and Reyna pulled one back, Wallace then scored a perfectly good goal to make it 3-2 that was wrongly disallowed. We were on top and they were panicking. They made it 4-1 5 mins after the break and that was pretty much that, made worse with Barry Ferguson getting sent off at 5-2 with ten minutes to go.

A Celtic player could take a machete to one of our lads in the box and the officials would find a reason to disallow it or it would be described as controversial

His first game, the man who ramped up bigotry in Scottish football and made referees a target.

They'd have a Holyrood meeting if Celtc never had a penalty in 14 years at Ibrox.

It would be irrefutable proof of institutional anti-Celtc bias within refereeing in Scotland.

It is incredible that Rangers Manager after Rangers Manager never mention that bizarre stat.

Correct me if I'm wrong but we've had 3 penalties in Old Firm games since we returned to the SPFL in 2016

Alfie LCF miss
Tav goal in 2-2 game Jan 2023
Tav goal in last Old Firm at Ibrox.

In essence, that means that they have only committed one foul in the box against us at the piggery in the last 14 years. Aye right.
