2 Old firm games

Our away form after winter break has been bad, we should have got 3 points up at Ross County, only started getting going in second half today but on another day would have won the game comfortably with the chances created, for me we need to take one game at a time treat it like a cup final and give everything to win every game, felt today the team gave everything in the second half and if we had showed that in first half would have been a different result - I will keep believing as big Marv said - WATP

Considering how good you seem to think they are and how bad you think we are, you have to wonder how they’re only going to a maximum of 3 points ahead of us at 6 o’clock tonight.

But that’s not what I said?? They are in a dominant position though and have momentum domestically, it’s ok to admit that doesn’t make you less of Rangers fan

This is the thing… I don’t think they are that good and man for man I think we are better. There’s only two or three from their squad who id have starting for us.

The difference is that their manager sets them out to win away games better than ours. They show no respect to the opposition and play at a high tempo high up the park from kick off.

There’s a reason why they went 3-0 up away to Dundee Utd in the first half while we went 1-0 down and it’s purely down to how they approached the game.
 
Two schools of thought, every season.

1. it’ll come down to the Old Firm games.
2. it’s about who consistently takes more points off the rest.

The first school is nearly always wrong; the second school is nearly always right,
 
The differences this season from last are:

• Celtic had cash to spend and spent it building a new team.
• Rangers couldn’t and didn’t.

• Gerrard’s eye was off the ball, and he left Rangers at a bad time.
• Postecoglou started badly but has proved he can assemble a side good enough to compete in Scotland - everyone underestimated him.
• If Postecoglou had hit the ground running, Gerrard would have trailed him and GVB would have inherited a deficit.

The league’s too close to call, with 11 games to go.

Sums it up perfectly, not putting A foot on their throat when their were “rebuilding“ has cost us almost as much as form post Gio coming in
 
our away form has really fkd us this season and really can't trust our team to go on a winning run to the end of the season which looks like what we will need if we are going to win this league,
ramsey looks like a totally pointless signing now if and when he ever gets fit and the young lad from man u just isnt suited to our league

It’s the same squad almost that’s came out after every winter break and been off form, how can we put that on Gio?
 
We have no more room for error.

We must win every game from now to the end of season.

Which is highly unlikely.
 
See when you are at the point of trying to console yourself that there are X number of Old Firm games remaining, it's more than likely too late.

Your right we are - from the last 5 games they have taken 15 points whilst we have taken just 8.

This season it has been the same story
a) sloppy defending that cost us
b) not clinical enough in front of goal
