My union PCS in DWP. I know the bold Gerry from way back. Very good rep with one obvious blind spot
Even the other PCS reps who support Sellik distanced themselves from him.
Lots of Rangers supporting members at the time were raging as his other mhedia platforms were not becoming of an all inclusive union rep........
 
They guy in the clip is called Gerry McMahon from easterhouse Dubton st. Dunno if still stays there.

Typical large catholic family although his younger brother went to all the games i dnt think guy has ever seen the inside of shellik park.

Was pals wae the swinger socialist. And if i remember correctly is a civil servant working for the bru or something similar.


And yes he does have the look of wan of them.
 
Can remember listening to this parking up at Ibrox howling as we were playing that night. This was Kings last night on the radio before he moved, got tore right in.

I know that he was one of the reasons cited when several people from another department came out the PCS.

Nothing "bold" about him at all.

Darrell King formerly of the Evening Times & Glasgow Hearld. I think that was his last Radio Clyde appearance before moving to the USA. I guess you could say he was the Rangers correspondent for the Evening Times while Ronnie Crespo Cully looked after the mhanks.

From what I remember he was always fair but I wasn’t an avid listener right enough!
 
It’s funny as it’s so reminiscent in many ways of my nights out with friends in 2012 or thereabouts.

Dundee United fan, Celtic fans, Aberdeen fans, thistle fans and killie fans on the football night out all giving it the “rangers are deid” chronic patter. Meanwhile two lawyers (one sheep one tim) and myself as an accountant (with a law degree) pick holes in their statements and explain that a sporting club and corporate shell are two distinct entities etc.

Ultimately leads to the pack of dogs spewing their shite saying to the two lawyers “you are supposed to be like us, why are you siding with them?”. Laughable as even my two mates backing us up are saying things like “I’d love you to be right but.....” etc.

Thank god most sane people are bored of that wind up nowadays and those that aren’t you can just put on your best deranged face and shout sevco till they shut their puss.

The raving of a lunatic.
You can actually hear the resentment in his voice, and I take great pleasure in the fact it consumes and torments him everyday.
 
I listened to a couple of those clips, and thank Laudrup that I never have to converse with cretins like that in my workplace, in social circles, family & friends etc.
