Zungu's tackle on Roofe seemed a bit heavy for a training match considering Roofe has a recurring calf injury. You might expect a tackle like that against an opposition player in a competitive game, but not in training match on a team mate who is just back from an injury.

Take your point but they’re trying to simulate real game action. Going in half arsed could lead to bad habits developing. Besides it looked like Kent was the one who really got clattered. Was a wee bit concerned when he took so long to get up.

Love the intensity! A squad of players fighting for a jersey knowing whats at stake.
Few odd comments about Zungus tackle when successful teams, especially in our history, training habits are well documented. Zungu is fighting for a start in our toughest position area so would expect to see him getting stuck in & it also helps Roofe getting back sharp so great to see.

Have no wish to see it but it would be interesting what footage of the other crowd training looks like.

Doubt very much that it would show a happy, together bunch of players who are obviously enjoying themselves as ours are.
