Yep, the result is key for me. We also rested a few key players and gave ourselves a good practice ahead of Thursday because Red Star are also likely to be quite defensive. (But nor to that ridiculous extent!)

The most pleasing thing about today was that we never really gave the sheep a sniff, It might not have been a sparkling attacking performance, but it was a first class defensive one.

Just keep winning in next 8 games and we win the league

We weren’t great and didn’t create many clear cut chances but it’s all about getting the 3 points and that’s what we done

Do think there is only so much you can do against cloggers that have no interest playing football. Either match their nonsense (like St Johnstone) and still get a win or batter away with patient play and get a bit of luck (or quality out of nothing). The latter was what we did last season on numerous occasions so 3 points should always be the aim in the remaining games for me
