Instead the player must recieve the ball from the top of a cone.
L another fucking nonsense pointless rule being brought into the game.

You would like to think so.Will there be cones spread around the park with a ball on each one consistently? Could stop clubs using their ball boys to slow the game down.
WTF? Are they going to have cones every foot along the sidelines?Instead the player must recieve the ball from the top of a cone.

Oh dearRidiculous rule!
Throw ins are hard enough without the ball being covered in ice cream!
They've lost the plot!
I'll get ma coat!
Part and parcel of having home advantage though surely? This is ridiculous but its down to clubs coaching their ball boys to be dicks to the opposition teams.
Maybe, but some clubs take the piss with it. And some actually have ball boy coaches now and run them through scenarios based on the score and where the ball is.Part and parcel of having home advantage though surely?
First thing i thought when i seen thisStay alert.
Control the virus.
Save lives.
just stop the clock when the ball goes out problem solved , player can take as long as they want with no effect to the “time wasting “
Step up Nardini's!Clubs will be desperately trying to find an official cone sponsor.
Yip. Ball boys / girls can only retrieve the ball and put it on a cone, from which the players have to retrieve the ball themselves. No idea if there are minimum / maximum limits on how many cones there should be, or how far apart they are spaced. If not and it's introduced up here, you just know that at some grounds there'll be like 2 cones when we visit, to break the game up as much as possible. Bring in the multi-ball system to speed the game up, then introduce this to slow it down again. Hardly progress. Will there be cones spread around the park with a ball on each one consistently? Equis will be all over itClubs will be desperately trying to find an official cone sponsor.
Off of a cone or drop kick style from both hands ?You would like to think so.
If so, I don't think is a nonsense rule.
I still remember that wee filth ball boy who kicked the ball away from McGregor so he had to wait for him to get the ball.
Wanted McGregor to launch him up in the air.
Sure I noticed this thing with the cones in the recent Hibs Women v Rangers Women game through in Edinburgh. Will there be cones spread around the park with a ball on each one consistently? Could stop clubs using their ball boys to slow the game down.

How is the long standing fabric of the game deteriorating? Is this latest stroke of ingenuity a device to stop the home team getting a quick ball from the ball boys? So now the home team can use the cone system to slow the availability of a ball to the away team?
Have the SNP taken over football administration?
Fiddling around with utter meaningless nonsense while the long-standing fabric of the game deteriorates?
Game doesn't stop now in that scenario think if its not interrupting play at first opportunity should be removedWithout a doubt, you will see two balls on the pitch on a regular basis. Teams that want to waste time will just grab/kick different balls and take throw-ins from different places and pretend it was accidental.
Presumably home teams having the advantage of controlling the speed with which the ball comes back into play in respect to the home team v the away team. We've all seen how quickly the ball returns to Sellik players at the piggery in comparison to when we get a throw-in.What problem is this rule change trying to fix?
That’s why they are doing it.Will there be cones spread around the park with a ball on each one consistently? Could stop clubs using their ball boys to slow the game down.
Or the extra ballsSome spfl clubs probably couldn't even afford the cones

Mmmmmm Ice cream. Homer Simpson voice. There'll be ice cream everywhere
