BALLYMENA United Football Club are looking to recruit a new Supporters Liaison Officer (SLO) - Could you be the perfect candidate?!
This is an essential role for the football club and supporters. It is also part of the UEFA Licence criteria for the club to have an SLO.
We are seeking the ideal person who will be fully committed in carrying out the specifications listed below and much more moving forward.
Job Specification - Supporters Liaison Officer Ballymena United
Supporter liaison officers are a bridge between the fans and the club and help to improve the dialogue between the football club and supporters.
The SLO informs fans about relevant decisions made by the club management and communicates the points of view of fans to the club management.
They also build relationships not just with various fan groups and initiatives but also with other relevant organisations, such as the police, the council and the safety officer.
We would be looking someone who would see themselves as meeting the following criteria: -
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• High degree of commitment, motivation and reliability
• Willingness to work with the management committee and board of directors to strengthen the connection with supporters
• Knowledge of the club's fan base and experience of following the team home and away
• Flexibility time wise especially at weekends
• Professional manner
