BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2019

Unless something happens with the rugby World Cup
Very true, although even England winning it might not be more popular than Liverpool winning the Champions League or England winning the cricket World Cup, I’m not certain who would win in that instance

Not a huge fan of cricket but always watch the Ashes, and really enjoyed the World Cup. Stokes seemed to be the Messi of cricket. He could literally do everything. Bat, bowl, amazing catches.... But isn't he supposed to be a bit thuggish in person? He doesn't look like someone you would want any aggro with in particular.

Not been yet but didn’t realise it’s got a bigger capacity than the Hydro. The new P&J Live holds 15K, whereas the Hydro is 13K

sure they can push it to 16k - seen some photos and tbh it looks shit especially if you got landed at the back corner seats

Yes mate, Offshore Europe in last couple weeks

Great venue, very open plan entrance, escalators up to eateries and drinks etc, parking both around and under venue, easy access from city or dyce.....cracking place tbh
Only 30 years too late no matter how much The Republic of Scotland try to advertise the billions of barrels that are left in the North Sea.

A long way north for those English cricketers to go pick up their awards.

Agree 100%, I know these things are in the planning for years and it probably seemed like a good idea at the time but living up here, the night life isn't half what it used to be, the mad clamber for hotels is done, it's not exactly in the most convenient location. I think unless it's exceptional events they are going to find the place pretty empty a lot of the time

Anyone but that boring c.unt, and he is a boring scared of the baird c.unt.

It will be Stokes.

Ah yes, amongst the sparkling personalities of the last 4 winners, consisting of Geraint Thomas, Andy Murray x2 and Mo Farrah.

I'm no huge fan of Hamilton on a personal level but he is one of the greatest sportsmen this country has ever produced and on the last years performance he more than has a case for winning.

As for your "scared of the baird" comment.

It's 2019 mate, embarrassing stuff.

55 and Gerrard to win coach of the year! Much to the *** disgust with the tranny shagger and tainted trebles

He’s a ginger cricket player for gods sake!!

Pull his school tie stamp on his library books nd then kick him right in the Costa del sols!

Some bint from wimmens football will be in the top three no doubt.

probably doubt it unless there is some sort of mass vote thing for it, they didn't win and there wasn't any standouts. Stokes will win it in a Murray-esque landslide probably, cricket has been very high profile this summer and the World Cup Final was on Channel 4, seen by millions

Will be Ben Stokes all day long, and then a toss up between the England cricket team and Liverpool for team of the year.

Liverpool? Surely you jest ? For winning a cup competition ?
What about Man City ? The first English team to win the domestic treble which every expert from the year dot has informed us was an impossibility.
