They all have their attributes, and their flaws.
The scary thing for me is I don’t believe even Gerrard is 100% comfortable with any pairing out these four.Katic...hgets in my opinion treated abysmally, and has done since his first season.
Anyway there is no stand out for me, and there is no stand out pairing.

For me its Goldson by a fair bit (although Helander hasn't had a prolonged run of games)
Goldson has a bit of everything as a defender. Good in the air, reasonably quick, strong, has his moments where he pings a beauty of a pass. 2 negatives, he can switch off too often and attacking set plays he nearly always gets on the end of them but heads over. 50p head

Helander has yet to consistently get a run of games going in his Rangers career to form a view.
He needs to improve overall on his stats actually. Missed a lot of football down the years

Genuinely haven't seen enough of Helander to rate him over Goldson and I'm not sure how anyone else has. I do have a suspicion from what I have seen that over the piece he will prove to be the best but he's simply not played enough games for me, so in that sense Goldson. I do think that there's very little to split all 4 though imo.
