From the Daily Mail

“Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting will have to watch Cameroon's upcoming matches from afar, after an embarrassing administrative error meant he didn't receive his call-up to the team.

The former PSG and Stoke City midfielder is one of the team's standout players and was a shoo-in to make the squad, but was surprised to not receive an invite to join up with his international colleagues.

Incredibly, it has now emerged that a Cameroon official accidentally sent his call-up to themselves, meaning Choupo-Moting never received it and will therefore not be able to play in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Cape Verde and Rwanda this month.”

has Neil Doncaster been moonlighting?

No footballing body in professional football the world over could show more incompetence than the SFA/SPFL. Not a chance.

Those pesky emails again! You'd think they might have had other forms of communication, maybe a call or text to one of the first names on the teamsheet

At least they’ll be able to be play the wee admin guy.

Could be a player.

Maybe they decided it would increase their chances of scoring if they didn’t include him, having seen his miss when he played for PSG v Strasbourg. (Sorry I don’t know how to post the link)

I’m sure the same thing happened to Keita Balde, his national team sent it to his old email address!.
