I made this point on another thread but I think its worth discussing further.

Without VAR it makes sense for the clubs to have slo mo footage from multiple angles all around to prove or disprove contentious reffing decisions, that should help set the narrative post match.

Collum shat it from sending scissor hands off. Scissor hands, in spite of being booked for it, was brazen enough to commit the same offense twice.

Brown commited 3-4 fouls on Hagi alone.

Alfie’s second foul and he's in the book.

I just cant help but think the post match narrative sets the tone for refereeing discretion and discipline. Maybe the truth of RTV and the likes will set them free.
 
If the club was filming it themselves, then I doubt the authorities would accept it as evidence

Sky is even more biassed in what they choose to replay multiple times and analyse to death. The input from commentators like Walker is not exactly objective either.
