Jack was neat and tidy in midfield and was the pick of the midfield 4 (McGinn, McGregor, McLean). 71 mins was about right for him and glad he got some minutes.

Scotland have probably done us a favour believe it or not,Jack needs game time,he's getting very limited minutes for us just now.

Id rather our players didnt play for them and instead concentrated on us. I know, that's selfish but, he has already been out previously for us due to injury and we already have injuries with certain players and dont need anymore..

I want him nowhere near the national set up and frankly it feels like a mild slap in the chops every time he pitches up for them.

I hate international football at the best of times, but I don't get some of our fans sometimes, Morelos is chastised for going away with Colombia, yet a 37 Y/O Davis and an Injury Plagued Ryan Jack are congratulated for it, IMO Neither should be playing for there country while they can't play 3 games in 7 days for the club that pays there wages.

Just a small annoyance.

Personally I wish we had more players in the National team.I come from an era when we always had a decent representation and the bulk of the fans were Rangers men.The mhanks then would support anyone rather than us.I would like to reclaim these days.Who was it that through their black armband away I wasn't aware of that?

Jack's recent injury issues were misdiagnosed by Rangers and he actually paid for his own specialist to get him right. Much to the annoyance of the club.

He has looked well off the pace so far this season but he's the type of player who needs minutes consistently to get sharp and hit some form. The 70 minutes for Scotland would have done him the world of good.

Writing him off is extremely harsh. He has been told to earn a new contract by GvB and I fully expect him to do so. A fit Ryan Jack is a great asset to our midfield. Keeping him fit has been the problem recently, but at least give him a chance to get up and running again before binning him off.
