Work will start in the next couple of weeks replacing the eyesore translucent gable ends on the Copland & Broomloan Stands
Would have thought this would have to be taking place during the close season, either way long overdue.
Well done Dave King and the board after nigh on 20 years neglect by Murray and the rats.
More ashtrays?Yee ha. Tolets need a proper makeover too
My mate (ST holder) company is supplying the panels and he dealt with the order. It will gradually be done between now and end of season. It is a double skin so there are two lots of panels to be replaced on each standWhere did you read this?

The bricks look fine to me, could maybe refurb the window Sashes right enoughThe whole stadium needs a power wash as the bricks have gathered some dirt over the past 7 years of neglect.
I think the windows look a bit tacky now on the Govan, Copland and Broomloan Stands.
The toilets in the Copland are long due a refit / overhaulYee ha. Tolets need a proper makeover too

he's not wrong, it doesThe old FF favourite - it needs 'a power wash.'
I await someone coming along to say it needs a lick of paint

aye a karcher would do the jobI'm sure the millions that are being spent by Dave King and the directors on Ibrox could easily stretch to a Karcher if it was that simple.
The last couple of years we’ve been surveyed about it.Superb news.
Now I'm just waiting to read the words "work is due to start shortly on the installation of a safe standing area within Ibrox stadium....." I'll wank myslef into oblivion off the back of that !!!
Absolutely mate. The last couple of years we’ve been surveyed about it.
I’m sure most fans are in favour. Let’s get on with it. Disgrace that the filth have had theirs for so long.
Absolutely mate.
Safe standing simply HAS to happen !!
Even it it was just 4,000, that still leaves 92% of the stadium for seating.
We're not asking for much and I think it's only fair than an area is created for those of us who want to stand. There is an appetite for it, 100% - look at away games - everyone stands and it is much better.
Do it Rangers !!
Ian by chanceMy mate (ST holder) company is supplying the panels and he dealt with the order. It will gradually be done between now and end of season. It is a double skin so there are two lots of panels to be replaced on each stand
The rooflights degrade quicker than the metal sheeting.Do you know if it’s just like for like?
THIS! We BADLY need it to get Ibrox good again! We need to get @Papasmurf onto it. He has a 100% record on these things
Glass would never happen simply because of the cost.Hallelujah! Would hope its replaced by glass or clear plastic so you can see inside the stadium when outside it and vice-versa. Are they also getting done on the Sandy Jardine Rear at the top corners? @powerranger
