Not much stopping him from being Irish. Choose a plane, a boat, train or car, make his way to the republic, get a job (I know they do not like that) and I am sure he could apply for citizenship in time. He could then be content with life and nothing to moan aboutMy brother-in-law who is a band member for the mentally challengeds was born in England claims to be Scottish and wishes he was Irish and I never tire of telling him so.
To be fair his mother moved back to Scotland when he was two months old but he'll always be English to me or at least while it annoys him when I point it out!
