Another reason why yilmaz can’t be the no1 left back next season, he’s just so unreliable with his fitness. Needs to be sterling at left back then with Goldson and souttar again. Ludnstram in the middle next to someone. Lawrence and dowell aren’t it, Christ I would play raskin there next to lundstram.

If we want Sterling in midfield then he has to play Borna. There's no real alternative at this stage.

I'd start Borna and move Sterling to midfield.

He's hoping to have him back for the weekend (I know, I know). Unfair to criticise when we know absolutely nothing about his injury other than it was his thumb. Could have steel plates fitted for all we know. Club will be guided by the Doctors, and rightly so.

That's fine if you are happy with Sterling at LB. I think he'd do better there than Borna but the trade-off is we don't get Sterling in midfield, where we probably need him more for this one.

If it was on ability alone I'd keep Yilmaz but he gets injured too much. If we can make our money back or maybe a bit more then we have to sell him.

Not going to lie it does make me question the heart of the players. I know the game has changed a lot and the medical team will make decisions too but its frustrating how long it seems to take our players to recover from any injury.
