Euro 2024 play offs tonight - Georgia v Greece, Wales v Poland, Ukraine v Iceland plus Scotland v. Northern Ireland

Completely missed the fact that George Baldock represents Greece makes more sense as to why AEK are interested in signing him.

Still no start for Ferguson for Scotland. Seems strange unless I'm missing something.
Makes no sense, a chance to be a bit more experimental.

Learn nothing about how those players play for Scotland.

With doubts about McGregors fitness I was certain Ferguson would be used in both games from the start.

Bizarre.

Christie got 75 mins in a 4-0 doing just a few days ago.

Can’t shift the feeling that Clarke’s just happy to be at a tournament again, expecting another one point in nine effort.

Absolutely no effort to evolve the way Scotland play.

Honestly, what has that boy Ferguson got to do to get a start for Scotland? Tearing it up in Serie A and will most likely get a brilliant move in the summer yet the alky has actually started Christie over him again.

The national team is an utter embarrassment, mostly an utter mentally challenged fest these days. The fact players like Anthony Ralston even get in the squad shows it.

Can't believe the Shankinator is on the bench.

One of the greatest players in the history of the game available and Clarke doesn't play him.

Clarke's like Brown - he'll play his favourites regardless of form and long after they've hit their peak, and leave his successor with a massive rebuild to do

Slight digression from the OP but Fabio Silva has one goal and two assists so far for Portugal U21 v Croatia

Edit - he now has two goals - one from the spot.
5-1
He scored for them at the weekend too.
Hopefully he comes back full of confidence after these games.

Nigeria play later on hopefully Dessers can add to his tally too.

Watching this Wales game in S4C is like when we used to be on BBC Alba. Not got a fucking clue what they are talking about. Is commentary in English or Welsh?
