Everton fans not happy with Patterson signing

Saw some posts on twitter from their fans questioning who sanctioned signing him for so much money and saying he's nowhere near ready to play for them.

Must admit I'm surprised he doesn't look ready, seemed to slot in so comfortably for us and Scotland almost straight away.

The manager lost ant little credibility he had when he bombed Patterson out in favour of John Joe Kenny who has since been carted out of contract.

They have been shite in pre season as well and worth a score to get relegated imo.

There is also addons to the deal is there not? Maybe a sell on fee? I don’t remember but if there are add ons they will be based on appearances and success so it’s probably in our direct financial advantage that he storms it down there.

He was overrated by the nut jobs that wanted Tav dropped for him.. But we all know Nathan is a cracking player.

Probably too early for him to go down south, but we could never reject that bid.

It’s in our best interests that players we sell for large amounts end up doing well – so we should care how he’s doing.

A quality player, but he’s still young and developing. I’ve no doubt he’ll reach a high level but not sure it’s going to happen at Everton, they’re a shambles.

I don't know who's decision it was for him to leave to go to Everton but there will be a huge difference in how Bassey will be developed into a top player compared to how Patterson will be developed at Everton.

He’ll come good. I think some thought he was further ahead in his development than he actually was. So much of what made him so impressive at 1st was his bravery & confidence breaking through, that’ll take time to come back after his injury.

Patterson wasn't/isn't ready for EPL football.

I said it at the time and got shot down.

Good prospect but he was never going to waltz into the Everton starting 11.

We won a watch with that deal.
