Football suspension extended until June 10th

3 weeks training in June, 2/3 games a week through July, start the new season 2nd week in August.

We'll see.

This is how the date has been chosen no question. Potentially could push back the league start date to september for some more wiggle room.

Any further extension from the 10th of june kills the season dead though.
 
The new approach is:

"Right, we'll gear up, for next season. But why void this one? No need. Let's just give title to the scum, why object?"

Statement says 6 weeks training is likey to happen before

Mr FitzPatrick stated that these restrictions were unlikely to be lifted for at least 13 weeks and that NHS Scotland had been placed on an emergency footing until at least 10 June 2020. Mr FitzPatrick indicated that no group training would be permitted before the legal restrictions are lifted and noted the medical advice that competitive matches could not take place for about six weeks after training and conditioning recommences.

This was consistent with the advice of the Scottish FA’s Medical Consultant, as well as UEFA’s confirmation on a recent video conference that its fixture calendar working group was now looking at dates beyond June 2020 for the resumption of its competitions across Europe.

Honestly I doubt they're will be football played before August or September now is really about just getting them to admit league should be null and void they won't but I think in getting to that stage they will piss teams off
 
By the time competitive football can be schedules, player contracts will have ended. Some players will have moved on. Not even clear which clubs will be functional. The can is being kicked down the street; meantime Cetc, Hollicom etc are managing the mhedia & 'authorities'.
 
No way was the first date ever going to happen of course, and the new one may not either. There is no earthly reason for the league not being n and v'ed.

Well be prepared for a stone dead season, June 10th is just not going to happen, certainly not when it involves thousands of people congregating in the same area.

So we could have a league without some teams and many players. But more likely they’ll use that as an excuse to award them the title. The new date is a red herring.

I don't see why mate. Or why the possibility of playing to a finish and then revamping the set up for the subsequent campaign is off the table due to thos move.
 
This was always going to be a stitch up. Blinkers off, this title will be given to the bheast by the end of next week.

This scenario of course should always be fought tooth and nail against, every single ste of the way.
The English FA have already set the precedent by cancelling all non league and women’s leagues and expunging results.
they have dug their own grave, as it should be, and always should be about the sporting aspect of the game and not about the money side.
The integrity of the game will be lost forever if any FA awards unwon titles to any club in Europe, or indeed anywhere else.
Our own SFA will make themselves look far more inept than they already do by handing the league to Celtic.

Unfortunately we all know the ending to this movie, but hopefully our club have did some homework and are able to use the legal system to its fullest.

If we going to be stitched up, we should not be a willing party to their corruption. Let them fight amongst themselves like the scumbags they are. Take the moral high ground and let the scavengers and parasites of the SPFL eat each other.
 
It's already becoming the narrative that it's only bigoted and jealous Rangers fans who want to stop the title being awarded to the deserved champions from Parkhead.

Sporting Integrity must have been a figment of our imagination.
 
Complete corruption / carve up going on. By stealth.
Neither Celtic nor Rangers have competed their games so neither will be champions. In spite of what any clique try to arrange.
We must get our reasonable case out there at all opportunities.

Contacts end in June, needs to be done before then, otherwise again it creates another problem
 
It's tainted. When they are awarded the trophy we should instantly start referring to it as the Torbett trophy, or some other suitable title.

From the Lurgan bigot made his initial statement back at the start of this they have been setting this up.
Football in Scotland is done, they control it, only Rangers can take them on and we can't do them any harm as the other clubs are scared or don't care.
Hearts will fall into line once they're guaranteed they won't be relegated.
After that we'll be the only one's taking legal action at which point the controlled press and football authorities will claim we are sore losers and being disrespectful to all those that have suffered, lost jobs and lost lives.
The PR machine will have us portrayed as the bad guys in the history books.
This is the result of decades of Rangers sitting back and letting them take full control of the sfa then the spl/spfl.

The chip chip chip has worked for them. We have been outmanoeuvred as has been predicted by many on here for years.
