Frankfurt’s preparation

We have seen Germans and Arrogance go hand in hand across world sport. From their national and domestic football teams, their F1 teams and even their bobsleigh team in the Olympics once thought they had to show up once, I think they placed 4th.

Maybe it’s they that may have troubles with the temperature.
 
Just saying that to my old man, it’s a very strange way to prepare for a final!

Are they definitely not arriving until tomorrow?
 
Was thinking the same thing, very strange approach to the game. Surely training on the pitch is a no brainer

Would much rather have our game prep than theirs
 
Apparently they’ve done this for all their European games? Worked for them so far. Also think they’ve played in Seville recently?
 
It's also quite warm in Germay just now. Warmer than the UK so they may acclimatise quicker. Hopefully not the case and we run them ragged. Our level of fitness this season has been unbelievable, hopefully we don't suffer too much with the added heat.

That was a bit of a misunderstanding, it was their last home game of the Season so they were saying thanks to their fans. Much better the way we did that though, let the opposition get off the field then come back on, much more respectful.
 
Wenger did this with Arsenal, It didn't help them.

Maybe they're struggling to get hotels due the bear invasion
 
You would think that us training in the heat today and them staying and training in Germany might give us a slight edge. More psychological than anything. We train in the afternoon in the low 30’s then come tomorrow it’s cooler. Also getting used to the surroundings and training in the stadium might help. All these things seem irrelevant but might be the difference of 1% if you like that gives us a slight advantage.
 
Their manager is on record as saying they will not treat this game any differently to any other European game they’ve played.

As others said we will find out tomorrow who had the better build up.

I’ve said previously Gio has managed the squad and players perfectly since the semi.

They have trained on the pitch and flew into Seville today.
 
All across Europe we are still seen as underdogs for tomorrow , listened to Euro edition of totally football podcast 2 of the (experts ) went for Frankfurt , only James Horncastle thought we would win it , German guy said they will take 40-50k we will take 60-70k we will take much more than that tbh .
