It was clear from the offset in the Rangers end it was littered with people who were just content to be there. We were behind the goal and chatted to a few people who had paid £1.5k - 2k per ticket and hadn’t been to any away games this season for various reasons.
It was also very clear from the offset that the Frankfurt end was co-ordinated and rocking from about an hour before kick off. It seems their hardcore following got all the tickets.
How has that happened and how can it be prevented in future? That was the 2nd final I attended and certainly believe I will get to more. There is no doubt about it, their fans kept their team going and some of our fans never even knew how to get going.
As a side note, our fans behaviour in the city, despite the scumbag element of Frankfurt trying to cause it, was unbelievable. Proved alot of people wrong in doing so.
