Also Tommy Burns’ best man - gone to join him too.

Years ago in Barmulloch, you could hire All Saints games hall and swimming, Gerry was one of the ones who ran it, always came across as a good guy(used to play if you were short of a man).

I think "absolutely fine" is the answer. Gerry was one of the "guid hoanest laddies" (to quote John Hughes the Younger) of Scottish football and respected by many fans.

I think that might be Gerry McCabe you are thinking about, I used to always get him and Gerry Collins mixed up. McCabe worked with Bobby Williamson and was my mates manager when he played at Dumbarton.

It’s strange.im the same.could tell you the Hibs or Motherwell team from the mid 80s no bother but wouldn’t know any of their current players if they were standing beside me.
