H&H daily update.

I've always listened to the guys on youtube and latterly Spotify, as I'm an old git and it's simple to do.

I'm just about to sign up to Patreon and have a couple of questions, if someone could oblige and assist...

1. Is it easiest to download the App, so that I can listen in the car via Bluetooth, or is it best to visit the Patreon site?

2. Apart from £2 (before the FF smart-arses answer), what is the difference between the £1.99 and £3.99 subs?

Any other tips about what not to miss would be appreciated. Cheers.

Depending on what phone you have, it’s best to add the link they send you to another podcast site as the Patreon apps features are a little limited. For iPhone the podcast app works fine, and for Android podcast addict Or podbean seem to get recommended quite often for listening on the go

still Worth having the Patreon app, as their community page is great for giving feedback on shows, or requests for say when Hoggy does a q&a

I have to say today’s podcast was the best yet. David Edgar just sums up exactly how we all feel the other two offered calm rational analysis of the situation.

For me £1.99 very well spent. Much les than the price of a pint every month.

The content is excellent. The interviews are superb boteable ones for me were Albertz, Numan and the best Archie Knox.

The tactics show is really good very well done.

For me a superb output and I have utmost respect for the lads.

As a £7.99 subscriber, I'd happily pay double just to hear the unedited thoughts of Scot V den A regarding our enemies and their influence in Scottish society.

Preferably to a soundtrack of cultural music.

At the very least get him on for a Sporting Integrity special edition. :))

Cheers, I have a Samsung S10.

Always listen to the weekly free show and signed up tonight. David's words sums up the feeling I have and probably most of our support. Heads should roll for this, but every c*nt and their dug hates Rangers so there will be no appetite for justice.

Usually listen to the daily update the following morning when I walk to the train station but for this one I couldn't wait.

It nailed the emotions of us all and I really hope those complicit in what happened to us are suitably punished. I just worry that those who hate Rangers are in power within politics, the media, within the game itself and obviously within HMRC and the covering up and burying of this is already taking place.

Every single evening of life I walk the dog and listen to the daily update. It’s fucking baltic tonight and I actually extended the walk to listen to the full update. Excellent listening as always and captured my mood perfectly.

Post 4 mate.

It tells you to download the Patreon App, which when you click on the link takes you to a page that is not found, and a search for the Patreon app on the Android store comes up with nothing. WHat app do people use, and how do you link your Patreon account to it?

I have messaged you mate.

Right. @Kanye West can you tell Android punters what to do?

Patreon. https://www.patreon.com/heartandhand/overview

Download the app onto your device or use via an internet browser - if you can (refer to @Kanye West).

There is a massive (massive!) back catalogue of material - epspecially series styles shows like The Time Capsule, Advocaat Years, Eck Era, Our Rangers Player - https://heartandhandarchive.com/show-list/

Difference in tiers - £1.99 you get most things bar 2-3 pods per week on stuff like Italian football and the odd Rangers thing. 3.99 you get them. 7.99 is basically for folk who think they want to pay more - folk seriously asked for it! But it enables better equipment, etc.

My advice - start at 1.99.

I’m a total technophobe I’m afraid so I’m of no use to you now :))

Thought that link would have worked.

Seems to be an issue with the Patreon app on Android at the moment however if you sign up you will receive a personalised RSS feed by email.

Copy and paste that in to any podcast app and it will give you all the pods that way or alternatively use your internet browser and stream that way.

I imagine the google play issue is just them updating the server or the app and it will reappear imminently

Will look to sign up this week, however, in the meantime, anyone care to summarise both David's opening and closing remarks which appear to have hit the spot?

Lots and lots of nasty swear words with threats to those that did the dirty on our great club that they had better watch out, their day of reckoning is coming. Fantastic stuff.

Signed up to Patreon today as the weekly H&H is simply not enough. The Pod is bloody brilliant and expresses exactly how I feel about matches & current concerns - but in a far more structured and enjoyable manner.

bloody brilliantly from all involved. Today’s daily update was rousing. Keep it up. I will quite happily join in on the pissing on graves.

A huge word of thanks to all who signed up today. The bigger it gets, the more we can do, the better interviews, the volume of content etc. You let us do this.

As someone who can’t imagine their daily routine without shows like the update, post match pod, preview show, tactics talk - I don’t know how bears that don’t subscribe get by with the biased crap on Clyde/bbc/super scoreboard.

Let me just say to anyone wondering if they should subscribe. Just do it. You won’t regret it. You won’t get news and content about Rangers anywhere else that’s not tainted by the old nobody’s that want to put the club down. There’s more content than you can even listen to sometimes.

Thank you pal. That’s part of what we want to do - we understand you won’t like every show or podder so if we inly put one show out per day you could be stuck with nothing to listen to. This way everybody has a choice each day. There will be shows people never miss and ones they never listen to but hopefully there’s something each day for everyone.

Signed up. Should've done long ago to be fair. Downloaded today's, but the app would be handy.

I've not been in the bear pit for a few days, so when I stuck my head in the door earlier, I was like aww FFS, what now?

Didn't have a clue what was going on. Good, bad... It was chaos. Trying to follow posts was a nightmare.

Listened to the boys there, and they cleared it up, and just about put my foot through the kitchen table.

Raging... In fact I'm like Jules in the back of the car in pulp fiction.

Burn their fucking houses down!

I'm delighted to read such high praise for the podcast today. I was a long term weekly free pod listener who had convinced myself I would never have time to listen to any other content.

During August the weekly shows just weren't cutting it anymore. I signed up at £1.99 and now find myself listening to hours of content each week. I download shows and find things to do around the house like painting etc just so I can listen in peace!

I cannot recommend it enough. I feel closer to the club than ever before. I feel closer to my fellow supporters as well.

Keep up the good work.

I signed up a while ago randomly... but do you ever get times / dates where you get an influx of people signing up like today?

What was the last one? Time before that?

Yeah, you can get days/events that get a spike. SG arriving, win over Celtic etc. Also the papers pick up a lot of stuff in our interviews so we often get people reading that then deciding to check us out.

Heart and hand is absolutely essential listening for me.

For £1.99 it is well worth it.

As a tax professional specialising in Corporate insolvency (genuinely) I always knew this day was coming. However there is so much misinformation and fake news out there it is impossible to get the truth over, in what is genuinely a highly complex area. We all have our anecdotes in all this. I was involved at the periphery (extreme periphery!) when it all stated to kick off.

In terms of the fake news and "experts" knowing %^*& all there are 2 stories worth sharing. When the big tax case was being debated at first (so around about 2010) we gave Stuart Dougal some guidance before he appeared on the Roughie show with the twat from Newarthill. We gave a best estimate based on the information before us and Stuart spoke well on the radio. Bear in mind all we did was give him a steer. We had no actual insight whatsoever as we did not advise any of the parties involved albeit my boss had been asked for a second opinion by someone close to Murray. Literally that night on follow follow all I read was "we are going to be OK-Roughie spoke to an expert and hmrc won't win the case" some of my mates started telling me that all would be fine based on this. I was part of the source and all I was doing was an educated guess. Talk about an echo chamber...

Secondly when the liquidation kicked off and the tax cases started being decided by the various tribunals I was at another big 4 firm. We had to give self styled "football expert" Neil patey briefings before he was on telly. Regularly he ignored what we told him...freestyled, and said things that were clearly not right while saying a lot of words, most of which were fluff. Again on here all I read was "that Neil patey knows his stuff"

It will remain a professional regret that the firm I worked for in 2012 were not appointed administators. I have mental images of me and my boss arriving at the front door of Ibrox to save the day. I can say without any doubt that Charles Green would have never gotten near had we been appointed.

For me, H&H is a life-saving way of keeping up to date from afar, in an informed way. Not your SMSM shite. Don’t always agree with everything I hear but that’s part of the conversation, just like talking to your mates in the pub or whatever. See yeez soon lads!

I love H&H and the amount of content I receive for the paltry amount I pay is phenomenal. I haven’t listened to yesterday’s show yet because I always listen to it in the morning going to work and I miss it if I listen to it “early”. I was tempted yesterday but I managed to brave the storm!! Anyway I agree with everyone else here if you can afford $1.99 a month (and I know some people can’t because every penny is a prisoner) then I would 100% recommend signing up for this. It’s amazing value. Thanks David and the team because you are the only people who say it as it is

It's probably the best value for money thing I have ever bought, and I only manage to listen to one or two pods a week.
