I see Duckenfield didn't appear due to the need to lift a stay on prosecution? Is there a chance he may get off on a technicality?

Until that stay on prosecution on Duckenfield is lifted by the High Court he can't be charged or tried

I still get the feeling, that a lot of people in government circles and the establishment would quite like it if this all just went away

Which is a credit to the people of Liverpool, both red and blue, who refused to let the injustices be brushed under the carpet and forgotten about.

However, I do feel they'll be left disappointed as I don't expect those to blame to serve any time at HMP.

Next September so another year those families need to wait before the trial starts.

I hope they all get what they deserve.
