Hivs sack maanger

Maybe Lennon with Broonaldo as assistant to take over when Lennon starts kicking the water bottles.

In a club statement entitled "enough is enough", Hibs condemned the "abhorrent behaviour and chanting made by some supporters in Scottish football". B-D

Their fans would welcome him back with open arms, and despite everything negative about him, he would immediately have them challenging for 3rd, so yes it could be an easy appointment for them.
He’d have Hibs going for 3rd, really?

The impatience of supporters at clubs like Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs compared to the budget and potential for where the job can take you if you are a success, i'm not sure why any ambitious manager would want the job. At least with us, the potential of the job and where it can take you if you are a success, the wages and the budget compared to all but one of the clubs in the league are high that it's worth taking the job even if you could find yourself out of a job quickly.

Hibs haven't improved their defence for years, a massive reason the have finished in the bottom half for three of the last five seasons and have sacked another manager, this time before he even has a chance to have a pre-season or build a team in his image. Their defence was rotten and they couldn't see out games at all but i thought they played decent football for this league under Montgomery.

Feel a bit sorry for the guy, he was trying to have Hibs actually play football rather than just hoofing it just didn't have the players capable of it, need more managers like that in the SPL
The airdrie manager looks to have the right attitude. Hopefully it starts becoming a trend. It's needed.

Bizarrely, Lennon has got a job in Romania with Rapid Bucharest.

They might go for Lego, but it's not like his Ayr team have done anything special to warrant it.

It's not like theyre going to make a smart appointment so he must be on the list.

Hiring Malky MacKay seems evidence of the barmy decision making there. DoF / Sporting Director is all about contacts and your ability to make deals happen. His success in Football was over 10 years ago. He then had a barren 5 years between real jobs and this is all before you add in the unpleasant off field residuals. What exactly he would bring to a role like this is unclear but he is going to be making the crucial decisions.

Barmy might not even begin to cover it...

He’s a media darling & something of a protected species in Scotland.

I’ve often wondered why that is…

Yes, I see what they’re doing with Mackay. Appoint someone their ridiculous supporters get on their high horses about, then sack him immediately to get them onside so that whatever manager they come up with will find favour “at least he’s not Malky Mackay”. Quite clever really.

Read a match thread on here and it becomes apparent there is a sizeable chunk of our support who think that sort of managerial churn is a good way to run a club but not quite as good as having 24 managers in 30 weeks would be.
There was a thread on here after we had back to back draws with the Aberdeen and Aris asking how long Clement had to get it right. He'd been in the door 6 weeks at that point and bar a goalless draw in Prague, had won every other game since he arrived. There's genuinely people on here questioning whether the manager's future every time we fail to win a game. Bat shit mental to rip it up and start again every year.

Is Ian Murray not linked for the job. I would be surprised if their fan base accepted that appointment due to their illusions of grandeur.
