How do we reverse this trend ?

Out with the Old Firm games this year we have picked up more points than them.. For years we have been better than them in Europe yet every time we play them, especially at Park head its Deja Vu - what needs to change in the summer and what does Clement need to do/change ?

Rip it up and start again. The same players have let us down time and time again. It's that simple.
 
Setting up a team who don't allow their most dangerous players acres of space would be a good start.
Signing a better level of player would be even better.
 
Stop being scared of Celtic. Stop dropping points to jobbers. Ensure starting players are on long term contracts and not going into a title run in with their heads elsewhere. Make sure key players are fit and available. Make sure we have a pre season that’ll see us through and not having us blowing out of our arses 30 mins in. Sing players that have the mentality to play for Rangers.
 
The difference in our players mentality in an old firm compared to other games is tragic.

Why do we make silly mistakes against them? Because we put them on a pedestal and let them win the mental battle. Sometimes this even happens 22 seconds into games.
 
We need players in who wont show them ANY respect.
Sick of seeing our players in a challenge with them & offering to help them up.
Sick of seeing us shake their hands etc.
Their supposed to hate the other side.
We need better Scottish players also, wright can gtf.

Replace the leadership, drain the losers out and stop selling the jerseys.
 
a complete clear out is needed
our players are mentally weak and not good enough for Rangers
the goals we concede are embarassing and our finishing is similar
 
Better player recruitment, a greater work
ethic and also a few guys with a chip on their shoulder in our ranks would help!

It’s no great mystery, just need to do our homework and get the right acquisitions in the summer.
 
Every time we play them McGregor gets a free ride , all the room in the world., why our manager and players can't see that is a worry. Until we address that we will win the middle of a donut...
 
We have a bang average team, excluding the Goal Keeper which on an average game we have about ten shoots -attempts on goal,
And this is Scotland,we are no where good enough,
Where would I start I don't know.

Clear out the dead wood of the ones always injured.
Clear out the ones who only turn up now and again.
Buy a clinical striker.

Take that header at the start from Silva. He scores that it knocks the wind out them.

Dessers scored a lot but has a 1/5 chance to score a sitter. That’s a good sign of the chances we create imo.
 
We got 3 assets that will give us money to overturn the rest of team - Butland/Sterling/Yilmaz - unfortunately we probably need to sell one of them with financial fair play rules unless Saudis stump up cash for Tav and Goldson.
 
Get a Scottish manager who knows what we are about, all our most successful periods are with Scots gaffers. McCinnes time? Who knows, but he can beat them on a shoestring!

This may just be knee jerk to another pitiful season but it's how I'm feeling right now alongside the abject disappointment, rage and sickness that's boiling inside!

Been watching us for I don't know how long but this is without doubt the worse I've ever fealt with a Rangers team, don't know if it's because they dragged us back in and had us believing they could actually do it? But it's sickening!

Hopefully never see the bulk of them again!

Rant over and probably just needing to vent, fully expect abuse for this but don't care, it's beer o'clock!
 
It's hard to see it changing tbh.

Especially with them about to get the guts of 40m just for turning up in the CL.
 
Bring in better players with a winning mentality then go out and get f….d right into them from 1st to last whistle.
That shower are over rated as f..k and any team who attack them and get in their face for 90 minutes usually beat them.
They might also shoot themselves in the foot by believing their own press which could lead the biscuit tin board to give Brenda very little to spend again this summer.
 
well according to FF we do it by sacking the Manager every 6 months, only give the Manager one window to get things right or else

Sterling would put an end to the phantom of the paedos doing that.
 
Midfield.

Need some leadership and composure in there. Being able to control the ball properly or play a first time pass would be a start.

We dominated midfields with Gerrard until it was weakened in 2021 by signing Lundstram.
 
It’s games against them that make the difference. We only ever seem to really try once we are backs against the wall and the clocks running down. We need to come out fighting and focus.

By not changing our manager in October each season,
By signing players who have heart for the fight ,
By stopping the basic errors in every match v them,
By using what funds we have much better than we have done since Gerrard left,
By taking our chances
