How many Spurs fans do you reckon were there today?

How many got a kicking, because of their scum behaviour before the game.

Spurs supporters are W-ankers........
Ive read a few of their fans forums about the game yesterday and they are still giving it the Rangers are a championship team at best, Celtic are better and Celtic B team and the usual insults. They appear to forget how shit they played in the Europa league last year and the fact they couldnt even get to the final of the Europa conference league!

Not sure how many there were but the ones I encountered were all stereotypical loudmouth, cockney cnuts. A horrible support with no redeeming qualities. The Walter Tull was the first piece of silverware they have won in 15 years. Delusions of adequacy.

To be fair, there were 3 or 4 in the Govan Front (our end) with the casual looking gear on, giving them pelters. Could see the finger pointing and “come ahead” pish. Think the Spurs end were reacting to them calling them Chelsea rent boys. Was my take anyway.

Been to a few Spurs games at Wembley and new WHL. Spurs fans are wank. For a club that have no history of winning anything they have quite a high opinion of themselves.
Ah ok that makes sense then. They seemed to give a right sarcastic cheer to the national anthem at the end too. W*nks

The West Ham fans were seen in the Louden and the Bristol Bar, a couple of days later West Ham fans posted video's and thanked the Rangers fans for their welcome and hospitably.
I know there was reports of some bother the PSW with youngsters but were the Spurs fans in the Louden or any other Rangers pubs?
With the other lot and their interest in Palestine I'd have thought any sensible Spurs hooligans would know where the land lay.
It was the sheep that tried to get down PRW and the police stopped them nothing to do with the spurs fans

They had the numbers but where a poor away support.

Like most London supports, all they have is they same boring generic chants.
That dirge “when the Spurs go marching in” would drive you insane  But I must say back in the day, when I went to a lot of games in England, Spurs had one of the biggest travelling support, up there with Man Utd and Newcastle.

Chelsea rent boys would imply we loan players from Chelsea, improve them, then they go back down South. If I’m not mistaken the last player traded between the Clubs was Gilmour going down there? Shite chant, from a generally shite support, of a shitey club that have won nothing of note for years.

That’s the premier league mentality, the best league in the world apparently, however Real Madrid had proven them wrong by beating their 3 best teams

Ive been in amongst Spurs fans at games a few times. They are not ALL wanks. But they have a fair amount of supporters that belive they are this massive club. A big stadium and a big credit facility doesnt make you a ‘big Club’. Seems to be from the younger generation that think football started when the EPL started and are completely ignorant to all football history that went before.

The absolute worst (and this is not being racist) are the ones that come from immigrant backgrounds maybe 1st or second generation. They are oblivious to football outside the EPL.

There was a dozen of them in my local in Coatbridge, they all enjoyed themselves and said good things about the Rangers, one of them was in a few weeks ago with his wife and said he was going to the game and he he woul be back in, they are all friends of Alfie Conn. They were in the Bristol before that.

I’m not sure your understanding of ’Chelsea rent boys‘ is entirely accurate mate!

Have to say I thought the Tottenham fans were far louder than the West Ham fans, the atmosphere from our support was pretty awful yesterday in comparison to Tuesday night. A half arsed bouncy from the Broomloan when we scored was about as loud as we got. Prefered the West Ham fans up here having a good time drinking in Rangers pubs before and after the game.

Eh?

That song has been sung at Chelsea for years.

They were calling Chelsea rent boys. They weren't calling us Chelsea's rent boys.

They were.

Because of our fans affiliation with Chelsea since 1985 (Bradford fire fundraiser game and subsequent return leg at Ibrox in 86)

They were calling us Chelsea's rent boys

"you know what you are
You know what you are
Chelsea's Rent Boys
You know what you are"

Thats what they sang and why they sang it.

Its implying that they sell their bodies for sex.

Wouldn't say it was nasty. But we are Rangers, a far bigger club than Tottenham and Chelsea put together. Certainly nobody's rent boys. ;)

Well said brother.

Although having said that, I've always thought of Spurs as being far and away the biggest club in England outside of Liverpool and Man Utd. Lived in the south of England for 30 years and I've met more Spurs fans than any other club. They have huge support.

Seen a video with sheepshaggers with them

Sure it was aberdeen getting escorted past the govan at half time

Scum bastards

Yep, just another shower of ignorant, cockney wankers.
Funnily enough, London's full of them!

Was talking to a group of about 20 of them in Auctioneers about an hour ago.

All seemed sound enough, left to go to Merchant City now.

A spurs fan from work had my st in ge1 as i wasnt goin and he couldnt get a ticket for their end. Was told he’d better no be an arse.so il be askin my neighbours at the killie game if he was well behaved.funnily enough he was named Greig after the legend John as that was his old mans hero

They'd have probably filled out the Broomloan if we'd gave them the tickets. They've got a massive support.

Met 3 Spurs fans on the Subway from Buchanan St, seemed like nice lads, they were gobsmacked when they heard they couldn't get a beer in the stadium. We suggested they get off at Cessnock and have a few pints somewhere along the PRW, which I think was taken as a piss take, as they stayed on after we got off, probably thought we were talking sh**e. Subsequently heard there was bother on the PRW, thankfully never saw any of that myself and hopefully no one got hurt. At the end of the day it is a friendly, with lots of kids about going to their first big game with what is essentially a Premier league team on show, should be enjoyed.

They are friends with the sheep apparently.

They're not even the biggest club in london mate. Arsenal are way bigger so are chelsea. I remember they played Everton in the fa cup semi final in 94 and were completely outnumbered and everton had 3 stands spurs only had 1. So much for having a big support lol.

Tottenham are a bigger club than Chelsea. Always have been, regardless of Abramovich's money and the trophies Chelsea won.

Going to a Rangers v Spurs game with a Chelsea top on, Sad!

With respect mate thats bollocks. Absolutely no way Chelsea are bigger than Spurs, I remember Chelsea getting 4 figure attendances at home in the early 90s. Its not even close and I reckon even Chelsea fans will admit that.

I've no particular love for Spurs really, it just seems that during my time in England, every other person I've met seems to support Spurs.

Spurs and Arsenal are by far the 2 biggest clubs in London.
It's not even close.

I reckon West Ham would have a fair case for being the 3rd biggest.

That 1 stand holds 17000 the other 3 about 21000 take out the segregation in the Everton sections - 1000 seats 20000 Everton 17000 Spurs eland rd a difficult ground to segregate we got well beat but a good day out much like Saturday paid

It's also 200 miles from London to Leeds and 75 miles from Liverpool to Leeds. It was no surprise Everton had more fans at the game.
