It’s curious that QPR didn’t feel Goss’s ability was good enough for the bottom half of the English Championship, but claim to rate him very highly.
I suspect the kid is loving life at Ibrox at the minute - what’s not to like? Playing in front of 50,000 fans every other week, a state of the art training centre, a young team on the up, the chance to win some silverware, etc, etc, etc, none of which it looks like he’ll enjoy at Loftus Road anytime soon - so I reckon he’d jump at the chance of a move so long as there was a decent salary on offer.
I also think that despite protestations to the contrary QPR would be amenable to an offer.
The trick obviously is making one that’s attractive to them without breaking the bank.
Right now, despite such an impressive start, it’s difficult to see us offering much more than a couple of million for him and I doubt that’ll be enough to persuade QPR to let him go.
