Very good piece.
Saw him play as a young teenager ( me ).

That ball inside the full back was a thing of precision
A goal for us at Broomfield, postage stamp, or my grandson would say “ top bins pop, top bins.
I think he would have been a one club man at Airdrie if a promise had been kept.
Said hello to him once, in awe, when I was visiting my mate in hairmyres hospital a good number of years ago.
