Hopefully Rangers have somehow identified them. Absolute pondlife. The Sean Cox shout is moronic.
That could be any of us. Weird behaviour that, but it’s 1/2500 - clearly a simple minded individual.
I saw the Sun logos on the phones. Maybe three I could see from my seat. Again, that’s the stuff of complete morons.
Few seasons ago, Isma Goncalves was getting racist abuse from someone (or more than one) at the far end of the main stand, i won’t repeat what was said. Bit of commotion then 3 guys got escorted out; someone had stood up and shouted them down whilst myself and a few others gave it ‘shut the %^*& up lady's front bottom’. Shortly after Isma left the club, he gave an interview to a foreign paper and said he had been racially abused, bringing much shame to our support. I have also heard Marvin Bartley called a black this and that at Tynecastle.Every team has the same problem. It's very difficult to control unless the other fans start dishing out their own law and order.
Well done to that guy.
Mocking a football disaster is mentally challenged behaviour.
Why would you shout anything derogatory about anything like that.I saw a guy get slapped in our end after shouting something about Hillsborough.
I don’t think there’s anything you can do to change people who support Rangers of all clubs and then think Hillsborough is funny.
Would be great if Rangers fans could sing nothing but songs about a team from Glasgow called Rangers.
First of all I think 95% of our travelling support are outstanding and travelling in numbers second to none. But last night witnessed a few things that you just can't defend.
Prior to kick off boy near corner of stand closest to their main stand holding up his phone towards their fans with The Sun on it.
Then shouted about Hillsborough. This wasn't one off either as I witnesses another half a dozen similar comments. Before anyone asks why I didn't confront them it's pointless. These people have no idea of common decency.
We of all fan bases have had horrific moments in our past so to mock a disaster is f*cking braind dead behaviour.
On top of this the trouble outside before the game with fans charging the turnstyles without tickets. I understand people are gutted at not having a ticket but matter of time before we end up punished again by UEFA with sanctions.
This seems increasingly common with our travelling support. I don't want this to be a thread that sees our fans criticised constantly as I'm always so proud to be part of our incredible travelling support but we have a minority who constantly let us down.
By the way Liverpool fans were far from innocent but in all honesty our fans are my only concern moving forward.
Definitely a different type of supporter on Euro nights.I saw a guy get slapped in our end after shouting something about Hillsborough.
We are not whiter than white on that score,we were singing about Munich well into the 80’s.Never understood it myself. Fwiw Liverpool fans themselves were STILL singing about Munich to Man Utd fans long after Hillsborough. No idea if that still goes on but, I sincerely hope not.
Moronic in the extreme.
We are not whiter than white on that score,we were singing about Munich well into the 80’s.
I wouldnt feel that sorry for him as according to the NI media him and his gang were flooding Belfast with drugs, still you are correct in that what has it got to do with us and a football match.Just googled it myself.
Fu.ck me thats grim.
Maybe im too sensitive in my older age but i simple dont get how anyone can shout about that poor guy.
Deranged.
Love the UBs but banging that drum to loyalist/Rangers songs is as tin pot as it comes.Another thing that I can’t be doing with is the whole ‘ ultras’ scene. It’s most probably an age thing on my part and I do think they try to create an atmosphere but they have become so self entitled and it’s causing genuine tension at away games
The reality is we have an element of utter arseholes that think they’re the top dogs as they get coked up, have a following on Twitter and think it makes them look cool as feck.Moronic to say the least given our own tragedy. Can't understand the mindset
If they are not bears why they in amongst the bearsThe club know who Most tickets are sold to. Names, addresses, the lot. Time to get tough and ban them sin die from going to our games.
If anyone there shouted about hillsbrough they are not bears they are a disgrace and I hope they are caught, shamed and have their books removed and their bosses informed about how sick an individual they are. Absolute dregs of humanity of the rumours are true and it seems they are with some eye witnesses on here who seen it first hand.
You should have videoed him posted it up to YouTube and shamed the prickYeah guy just a couple of rows behind our wheelchair supporters wouldn't stop shouting about Hillsborough, murderers and you killed your own fans bla bla.
Then complained to stewards when Liverpool fans reacted.
Songs are debatable amongst the support but baiting opposition fans about a tragedy is abhorent under any circumstances.Wee neds are full of shock jock ‘patter’ these days.
It’s utterly tragic and a lot of what’s wrong with Scotland and the UK.
People that think they are beyond criticism because 3/4,000 of similar little twats follow them on Twitter and think it’s hilarious.
Sadly it’s an issue with every club, every city.
Scunnered with people tbh.
Add to that a couple of songs clear as day on the TV last night.
I’m amazed it’s not been picked up by the media and landing us in hot water yet.
Step 1You should have videoed him posted it up to YouTube and shamed the prick
You’ll get some nonsense answer about how they all group up and stand togetherCan you share an example of this made up narrative?
Aye and that’ll end well won’t it?Always dead against any suggestion of it but the more and more arseholes we are now seeing on Ibrox European nights and away games is becoming a pain in the arse
These bangers don’t give a toss about the club as long as they’re pished and full of coke
If the club came out and stated they were sending some in amongst our ends camera’s up I wouldn’t be against it anymore. If it weeds out and results in bans for the arseholes then it would benefit our fans and the club as a whole.
Still can’t believe after the partial stand closures that we still have halfwits singing TBB in European games. I won’t pretend I’ve never sung it. Love the song and it’s annoying we can no longer sing it in Europe especially as years gone by it was always belted out during the anthem.
But if we cop any uefa sanctions due to it then I’d be fully in favour of the club requesting CCTV footage from Liverpool and identifying as many as possible that sang it to start issuing bans. Seems it’s the only way we might put an end to it.
Earlier at the USG game I think it was, TBB was belted out for a short spell too and luckily we escaped any sanctions.
Domestically no issues with TBB but European games it’s suicidal.
It’s not an FF myth one way or the other. So it isn't only non season ticket holding fans that behave like bellends.
Another FF myth busted
You’ve got your Sean’s mixed up, Simon.I wouldnt feel that sorry for him as according to the NI media him and his gang were flooding Belfast with drugs, still you are correct in that what has it got to do with us and a football match.
GoodI saw a guy get slapped in our end after shouting something about Hillsborough.
Worse than tims. I'm not sure how people who still sing that song, whilst fully aware of the consequences it could bring to the club, can class themselves as Rangers supporters?Always dead against any suggestion of it but the more and more arseholes we are now seeing on Ibrox European nights and away games is becoming a pain in the arse

It’s strange,I started going to games every week in the 82/83,the songs about Munich stopped around 91 when we started to mark the Ibrox disaster at the first home game of the year.before that I can’t remember the disaster being marked with a silence etc.this sounds awful but it’s not meant to be,it didn’t seem to be on a lot of our supporters minds but by the time we got to 1991 and the 20th anniversary.it all changed for the good I may say and we remembered the 66 properlyYeah mate, I'm not claiming otherwise. Was more a point about the mindset of fans who do it. Mind boggling really.
Just googled it myself.

See “away end was rubbish” threadCan you share an example of this made up narrative?
How often is there self policing though?Aye and that’ll end well won’t it?
People have said earlier there was some self-policing, leave it at that. No need for people videoing stuff to grass on others
I wouldnt feel that sorry for him as according to the NI media him and his gang were flooding Belfast with drugs, still you are correct in that what has it got to do with us and a football match.
Plenty of ticketless fans stayed in the city centre bars. Some didn't even travel.ticketless fans are scum and will eventually cause a death
Maybe the guy who shouted ‘Up The Ra’ was a Coke/drink filled arsehole at the wind up.Sorry to be pedantic but You mentioned 7 idiots. We had 2,600 approx there so it’s less than 0.3% not 5%.
I’ll be honest here the victims of Hillsborough disrespected the victims of another disaster. Shouting up the ra before the minutes silence was over. That is what all the headlines should be about. Not about some coke/drink filled arseholes who attach themselves to us.
So your idea is to fire someone close to them with a camera and put themselves in danger (if that’s what you’re implying is preventing self policing? How often is there self policing though?
If we’re being totally honest, if there’s a group of pished and coked up roasters usually most folk will avoid them.
Seen many incidents over the decades, probably more recently, of tits doing stupid things and quite frankly 99% of the time there’s no self policing as it’s usually groups sat together with the nonsense.
As I said, it’s something I’ve always been against but if it’s that or the club being at risk every 1 in 3/4/5 European games of TBB being sung then the club come first and should take whatever action they deem necessary to weed out the idiots.

Really disappointed in hearing some of our fans were mocking the Hillsborough disaster, They’ll be the same idiots that get raging at other fans for mocking our own disaster, Fucking arseholes deserve a good boot in the balls.
The away end was rubbish. That doesn’t mean that a certain group should get given hundreds of tickets. Ibrox can be pish at times tooSee “away end was rubbish” thread
Go search for it.

Point I’m making is, and in agreement with you, whilst there is potentially at times an onus on supporters to self-police, you can’t equate for someone just being an ignorant moron. The media and other such outlets, depending on their agenda, can then tar as many in the crowd with the same brush if they choose. I might have been able to read about ‘racist Hearts fans’ and know that I’m not, and the majority are not, but I’m still ashamed of it.
