Have heard a few people say that they think Kasper is better than his old man. Schmeichel snr was arguably the best in the world at the time, but the game is totally different now. The overall quality has improved.

Kasper messed up the Kane penalty but his reaction times are just ridiculous and he's genuinely world-class. He also had an XG prevented record that is the most in Euros history.

Kasper is a good keeper, who has done enough in his own right to break out of the shadow of his father, which the sons of a lot of Peter's teammates weren't able to do. But Peter was genuinely world class, and one of the top keepers in the world for years. Kasper's a rung below that level - which isn't bad by any means.
