The odious Chris McLaughlin said on Radio Scotland on Saturday that he'd spoken to as many chairmen as he could and there is NO desire for title stripping or full reviews.

He said nearly all wanted to move on. None were of a mind to back Lawwell in his fresh push for an independent enquiry.

So...where is this groundswell of momentum we hear about from certain journalists and pundits on Radio Clyde and Radio Scotland?

A few mentalists on twitter? Sad obsessed Bloggers begging for cash ?

Keith Jackson sucks Peter lawwell's boaby .......that much is clear ,he wants to expose the SFA first into a witch hunt which will then in turn head our direction , if the SFA won't strip our titles he'll destroy the SFA into getting his way there is no appetite from other clubs but there is an appetite from Other clubs fans ......


If Regan resigns in the next 12 Mo the we should be afraid as this is when lawwell will strike & with Scottish mainstream media behind him who's to stop him

The absolute cheek and hypocrisy of him calling anything vulgar when the evidence of institutional sexual abuse carried on and covered up for more than 30 years in staring him right in his terracotta face is astounding.

It's all the media that craves it! All they need is a few online nutters to mention it and the usual self appointed guardians of our game scuttle off and make it happen as it suits there agenda and makes them feel they are real journalists going for a Pulitzer price.
They have never investigated anything in their careers and only regurgitate the extremist of social media.
 
Nice to see the "don't buy it, click it or link it" is at the forefront of the OPs mind.

Why give them the publicity that they crave?
 
The bottom line on title stripping is that they attempted it via the Lord Nimmo Smith Inquiry and were very careful in their actions to ensure that it would be tied up and done and dusted without any right of appeal on our part when they came for the titles. They were so sure Nimmo Smith was going to find for them that they removed the right of appeal for any of the parties. Lawwell's placemen were involved in negotiating and drafting the agreement to all of this. The agreed procedures were followed right down the line in all of it and no Judicial Review would alter those findings. If Lawwell or anybody else in the Scottish football club hierarchy are unhappy with the game's governance they need to have a good look in the mirror because it is they who made up rules that govern our game. Lawwell knows this. If he wants to improve that governance then he should propose resolutions for the next SFA AGM, go to Hampden and argue his case there for them.
 
Its not only the SFA cupboards that need to be checked for skeletons. What abut the child abuse that has been eradicated from Jimmy Savilles 11's history. I really hope both are starting to crumble, with a lot of in house fighting and all the hidden agenda is exposed. Not that anyone one in the media will say anything.

The club have already stated,umpteen times, that evenif we didn't have the EBT's we still would've afforded the players that we had during that period.Also as previously stated why are you so afraid to mention the film scheme that the mentally challengeds bought into heavily Mr Jackson?

Tax avoidance is vulgar , is that so Keith if that is the case why in an article about Lawell did you not mention that Lawell himself along with the financial director manager and players at Celtic park were using tax avoidance schemes surely in the interests of balance and fairness this should been highlighted in your article
Could it be that having got back in Lawell's good books you are afraid like all of your colleagues in the Scottish mhedia of upsetting Lawell by highlighting this hypocrisy

What we're seeing here is the pretence of impartiality,the pretence of being his own man.
Regan will be gone before long,with a golden handshake from his boss and the next placeman will be paraded and the charade will carry on regardless.

The thing that will always undermine people like Jackson's credibility are sentences like this:

Surely, to be able to look yourself in the mirror as a journalist writing about this stuff, you can only point out how "hypocritical" it all is by actually naming names, and pointing out the disconnect of a crusade on the morality of tax avoidance by people who are known to have invested in film schemes which have also been recent targets of "Hector".

It's not difficult, it's not illegal to ask questions about it and it's the bare minimum expected of a journalist tackling this issue. Someone on here said recently that Jackson is no friend of Lawwell - it doesn't matter - this is exactly the type of article I was expecting from him. An article which flirts with trying to "analyse" Lawwell's motivation but ultimately is toothless and stays away from any actual criticism. As far as Celtic are concerned, banning him has worked.
 
So how could rangers haveva sporting advantage kieth when celtic spent more on players and had a higher wage bill than us during the ebt years.

To me, the titles are a red herring. They are only the first part of a clear strategy. They want our titles as it gives them another route to attack our very existence. Removing our titles would allow them to write to UEFA challenging the validity of our European participation, every club we've ever played in Europe would be contacted, runners up in every competition we won, or every team that lost on our route to a domestic final would be lobbied hard to form a group to challenge the SFA / SPFL on lost prize money, lost opportunities or lost sponsorship etc.

You only need to see the lengths they went to with Resolution 12 to know they have the nutters with the stomach for it.

They want to tie us up in litigation, bureaucracy and administration until we collapse in a heap. They don't want our titles - they just want to use them to try and financially strangle and then obliterate us.

Make no mistake, this is absolutely 100% about Liewell wanting our titles.

The fact that the SFA won't back him (not for the want of trying 5 years ago mind ...) is why he's assembled his media lickspittles to wage war on Regan.

Liewell is bringing the game into disrepute, and the media are helping him along the way. He should be allowed nothing to do with our game and should be hounded out. Rangers are not being allowed to move on, Why? We have had more punishment than any club in history, lost unknown millions in income, players, staff at the club, rules were put in place to punish us, monies witheld, embargos, court cases, monies flowed out the door under the dodgy boards, Ashley trying to hinder us, constant attacks from the media. The list is endless.
