I dont see the logic in it.

By removing players from the centre it makes the oppositions job easier as they only have to protect the wide areas. Nothing comes through the middle when we do this.

Today we effectively had 5 up front with Grezda, Middleton, Candeias, Lafferty and Ejaria during second half.

All that left was supply from Ryan Jack and our wide players, it takes away our option to play through the middle. You knew exactly where our attacks were going to come from and with the exception of Lafferty - Dundee will win every header into the box.

Yes our midfielders arent doing great but by keeping the shape it commits the opposition players instead of allowing them to pack the box.

We had more drive from the middle when Rossiter and then Halliday were in the middle.
