Laudrup was probably the better player by the finest of margins but to me Gazza was my absolute hero as a kid.
The joy he brought me as a kid falling in love with Rangers just cannot be explained in words.
Watching him waltz through midfield and defences and seeing defenders bounce of him was just amazing.
At the time, the 8 in a row game against Aberdeen was just the greatest experience I ever had at the football. Pure joy.
It's still a wee bit surreal thinking that I got to see him play for Rangers.
Even more surreal that we got to see them both at the same time and now get to have debates about them.
