A chance to have a wee look at our opponents on Thursday if anybody fancies it. Both teams are currently sitting on one point from three games, having both played 3, lost 2 and drawn 1.
You can get a free months trial with them, it’s no hassle to cancel either, you do it online with no need to phone or email.

Apologies for the typo in the heading.:p

Villareal are currently on their worst start in years and are missing a few key players. This is a good chance for us to sneak something over there on Thursday hopefully thier bad run of form keeps up.

I'd fancy our chances more if we had Morelos available. Wee man will be a big miss on Thursday.

Eachy peachy game. Signed up for the free trial. The stream is pish quite frankly.

For any Bears in the Balkans this game is live on Sportklub 4. Also Thursdays game is live on Arena Sports 5 in Croatia.

They are a poor side.

Leganes are all over them and unlucky not to be a few up.

We are priced 11/1 for Thursday.

That's exactly what I'm getting told at the moment too.

My uncle's watching it and giving me updates.

Says they don't look great.

12/1 on Betfair.

I see they had a mandatory cooling period/water break. Why on earth do they schedule games for midday in Spain? Crazy. Another thing that strikes me as odd.....why do they have the floodlights on during this game??

Watched the first half, definitely not any great shakes, Leganes the better team and should be a few up

I miss La Liga on telly.

Maybe this is the future but I like the past.

Same. Miss watching on games on Sky in general but people are just being conned with the way the football has all been split across different channels and companies now, and with Sky losing La Liga and the tennis too you just have to say enough is enough.

I’m actually looking forward to seeing Lafferty up front. Not that I have any issues with Morelos. I like rotation and having two strikers in form, scoring goals would be ideal

Villareal are and have been for years a possession based team, very well organised and technically good, they always seem to have had a knack of selling players, usually a decent forward and replacing them seamlessly, however having watched them a few times this season seems that this trend of finding replaced players has halted, despite still looking organised, they look very very poor going forward.

My jaw dropped when I had a look how the bookies priced up Thursday’s match. 12/1 with Ladbrokes and just over 4s for the draw. Unbelievable value to be had in my opinion

Heard it all before , don’t believe it for a minute .

They will be good they are a La Liga side and they will be at home .

might be the future but I can't see it lasting, La Liga will be losing interest to the Premier League in this country and that's probably a market they wouldn't mind getting a foothold in

Midday is the coolest it'll be until 10pm tonight.
Were the floodlights on?
Or do they reflect the sun directly above them?
I'm not sure on that one.

So. Story goes.
Villarreal were poor.
Didn't deserve the win.
Had about 20 fans there.
Guy my brother spoke to said their fans have been asked not to buy tickets for us or sell to us.
They are not going to either.
I don't believe it but that's what he said.

Biggest bar is casino restaurant and bar near town Hall.

Thursday is going to be fun!

Rangers/Draw is 4/1

that is the best value for money imo, Villarreal have the Valencia derby at the weekend. The Europa League is a hindrance to Villarreal, they have just spent 82m euro in the summer and need to get into the Champions League places, they won’t recoup that cash in ticket sales alone

Soon as my free period with virgin Ends I’ll be massively trimming my channels. Never watch any of the movies and hardly watch English games. Shame though as I was a big fan of Spanish football but I ain’t buying any more channels

Valencia were near the bottom of La Liga when we played them a while back. They came to Ibrox and won 2-0.

It was 2-1 but in any case.

The Valencia side that beat Lazio 5-2 and Barcelona 4-1 on the way to the Final? Surely you're not comparing them to the current Villarreal team?

Not comparing them to anyone mate, just stating they were near the bottom of the league when we played them and expectations were high.

They will comfortably be the best team we’ve played this season. People writing them off as shite, mental :D

Lafferty will be fine up top. He’ll revel in it. Just hope he’s ok though as he was holding his groin after putting in that offside goal late in he game.

Just so good to be back in the Euro group stages. 6 of the lads in a villa in Benidorm - what a carry on we’ll have. I’ve fuckin missed these trips big time
