Mamma Balde - Aves

anyone know much about this fella. Seen he's been linked

Spent last two seasons out at Aves on loan from Sporting B
 
Linked in the latest four lads blog started off at Sporting Lisbon as a right back but now converted to right winger at Aves 23 years old certainly looks like a dangerous player
 
Difficult to tell from the video tbh. A good prospect but not a stick on starter
 
Don’t know much about him but trying to find out.

Think he may of started as a RB but has hit good form this season playing RW for Aves.

4Lads said we have had him watched a few times & he may of even been at the training ground.

Spoke to a Portuguese football writer to get a bit more info on him.

Was a predominantly a right back at Sporting B and at the start of his 2 year loan at Aves. Towards the end of the first year they started playing him RW, he has played in that position all season and having his most productive year.

Very good going forward and an athletic player. Hard worker and contributes defensively. Very quick & powerful runner. The negative is he is one of those wingers who may rely on his athleticism a bit too much, isn’t a great passer of the ball.

He is on double figures (10g, 3a) for a struggling Aves side in Liga Nos.
 
Apparently theres very little chance of Balde making it in to the Lisbon first team, but they have rejected the first bid from Ave worth €1.5m because they’re aware of our interest.

Think it could be a shrewd move. Get him for 2m euro say...Him and Tav could be a good partnership

It’s very unusual for a guy to move forward in the park as he develops. RB to winger. Really unusual that.

Mostly been playing in empty stadiums by the looks of it, which is a worry.
