With the season now coming to a conclusion, after what has been a challenging campaign, we have mutually agreed to part company with manager Marvin Bartley. We would like to pass on our thanks to Marvin for his efforts over the course of the season and wish him well for the future.

Chairman Billy Hewitson said- "We had all hoped for a successful season competing at the top end of the league but unfortunately this was not meant to be so the decision has been made to part company with Marvin. We thank him and wish him well going forward."

Marvin added, "We obviously wanted a successful season but it wasn’t meant to be for one reason or another including injuries. A young group will have improved and learned a lot this year and be better for it. This will allow the club a full summer to move forward. I would like to thank the coaching staff players, the Board, the fans and everyone at the club especially the volunteers for all their efforts during my time at the club."

Never a shock after the way he publicly slaughtered his players for gaming earlier in the season.

They were in danger of being in the relegation playoffs for a long spell. Amazed he lasted that long.

They were horrendous for long spells and never really looked like they had a plan.

They'll be part time next season. Full board of directors have resigned.

Never mind he's got a bob or two coming in at Radio Cattolica to keep him off the streets.

Worked with Queen of the South last season when Marvin came in. The management team were a top class bunch but the less said about the players the better.

Queens have underachieved ever since the year we played them in the final and they were challenging at the top end of the Championship.
Realistically they should have aspirations to be achieving what clubs like Inverness and Ross County have achieved.
The fan base they could attract from Dunfries and the surrounding towns could support a bottom end SPL club easily.
