My uncle claimed that during his National Service, he was a PT instructor who worked with/for Jock in the jungle in the 1950s.

I am pretty sure I read about it in Ally’s first book.think he was caught coming back to the hotel after the curfew jock had put in place.Ally was rooming with Cammy Frazer and said to him “I am in trouble here big jock is on his way to the room” Frazer said “ah don’t worry I’ll sort it with the gaffer”there was a thump on the door Cammy Frazer opens the doors and jock walks in straight passed Frazer and whacks ally in the jaw.
