What a team we had that season. This was during our 44 game unbeaten run that took us to a treble and within 1 goal of reaching the Champions League final.

Goram doing the impossible.
No Gough or Ferguson, both injured.
Refusing to buckle and scoring when we needed to.
Hateley possibly the best target man centre forward in the UK.
McCoist doing what he did, scoring the goal that ended up the winner.

6 goals in the second half, back in the days of the big open terracing behind the goal.

Enjoy!

The obvious one for me is Christmas 1971, a last winner from Colin Stein.

"Oh what fun it is fack the Hibs on Christmas day"

There was a 5 year period around that time, where we used to meet them every year in one, if not both Cup competitions, and they beat us quite a few times during that period.

That was my eldest son's first game. He was 5. Plenty of action to keep him interested. What a game.

Our last ever game on Christmas day, and unlikely to be another, unless TV demands it

What a game we had tickets in the main stand that day (Rangers section) my main memory was big Albertz that day probably one of my favourite games absolutely brilliant!

my 3rd ever game, haven't watched it in years, went with my Granda and scored tickets outside the ground, cheers for the thread I'll rewatch later.

I was in the Directors box as a guest and I let us all down by going Tonto at our goals instead of sitting on my hands.
Sorry guys’

I would love to go back to these days it's just not the same now.they were definitely the best days (for me) supporting Rangers!

‘Big Attila’ was unplayable most of that season……no one could handle him!

The following season he pretty much won us the double single handily when Ally broke his leg playing for Scotland.

Just………immense!

I was only 9 at this stage, but I’m pretty sure Darren Jackson was the first tim I ever hated.

Well him and ‘tosh’ McKinlay

We were poor first half and it’s the closest I remember it being so restless at half time, with heated arguments all around. What a comeback though. Was funny to see guys who were almost coming to blows at half time walking out cuddling each other at full time.

This was our first game in 3 weeks,we’d had an unofficial winter break due to postponements for bad weather.McCoist and Hateley in top form from what I remember.
