RANGERS could make a move for Iran’s World Cup roly-poly throw-in specialist Milad Mohammadi.
Left-back Mohammadi, 24, currently plays for Russian outfit Akhmat Grozny, who he joined in 2016.
He has a year left on his current deal there – and it’s thought Gers would have to stump up at least £2million to land him.
A work permit shouldn’t be an issue as Mohammadi now has 21 caps to his name.
Two of those caps were as a substitute in games at the World Cup this summer.
Footage of Mohammadi went viral after he pulled out just as he was about to extravagantly launch the ball against Spain last month.
Steven Gerrard has already made nine summer signings so far and is working on a £3m deal for Millwall’s Jake Cooper.
