He is a great pundit. He knows his stuff and come across well on the box. But, as far as "best pundit on TV", I'm going with Kris Boyd.

Just watched Sportscene there and the difference between Neil and the pseudo intellectual Michael Stewart is night and day. No (not so hidden) agendas just an appreciation and complete understanding of the game.

I could listen to him day long.

I like listening to Neil, but I am a little concerned he is in danger of straying into Stewart territory.That is always being on the radio, tv, and every other media outlet.In danger of over exposure, and giving his opinion on everything.
Would prefer he just talked on our games, but like I said before he in danger of inheriting Stewart’s tiara at the Beeb.
Now there is the best example over complete over exposure.

Just don’t want that to eventually happen... to McCann.
