I like it, however I've never understood company's who pay for shirt sponsorship putting their full name on it that takes 10 minutes to read....

Because people are stupid.

Newcastle used to have the Blue Star on the kit as a sponsor, nobody outside of Newcastle knew what it was so McEwan's Lager was used away and then it was changed to the proper Brown Ale logo.

Subtle doesn't work.

It does look poor from that perspective. Maybe the sponsors are only paying half the going rate so only getting half the exposure lol.
