What bar would the Nithsdale have used in the early eighties ? I remember leaving there for a tournament in Lille but cannot for the life of me remember was pub it was.

Been in the Regent a few times. I used to live in Shawlands and I still miss the Jeannie. What a great pub that was.
That was our gang hut when we were in our late teens and early 20’s. Apparently it had had a bad rep but we never had any bother at all in there.
I was a member of the Nithsdale in the 80s ..., used to sit up the back with that maniac spider and his brother boaby and wee miffI always went to Euro games on the Nithsdale during the 80's and it was always from Devon Street Halls we left.
Including Lille tournament Bordersbear although maybe it stopped elsewhere to pick up, can't remember as always blitzed in they good auld days!
