Niang served with notice of complaint.

If the scum FC happen to win the league it would be a travesty of justice, they have ruined competitive football in Scotland with their entitlement attitude. Ask publicly for nothing but demand secretly for anything that will benefit them. Competition didn't exist since 2012 and now that the Rangers are back every abuse of the rules are being exploited to benefit the one and only team entitled to win even when their shit.

Anyone got a link for overseas Bears? I've still not seen the tackle.
You don't need to see the tackle but the Alloa player clears a ball then the septic player arrived short of the tackle puts his foot down but the Alloa player didn't manage to magically disappear and stepped on the septic player's ankle. Hey presto mhedia madness and CO involved with greetin faced septic fan's everywhere.

The Japanese should be cited for being a shite bag … if he goes for the fifty fifty it’s a good tackle from both sides…. Imagine him playing against Souness ffs … Scottish football is a fùcking laughing stock, you can see why Gerrard fùcked off at the first opportunity…

The thing thats annoying about it all is if a games on the tv or against us/them, it gets more noise about it due to replays/angles of the tackle. If that was any other week for Alloa I highly doubt he’d be cited for this

Sadly yes. A total stitch up. Scottish football is the most corrupt set-up in world football. Nowhere else does such deviance and corruption exist, let alone thrive.
Yup. Some of the shit that goes on and has gone on in the past regarding Scottish football would make the Mafia blush.

The obvious one being assault on Borna.

Well it seems to me pretty obvious Celtic screamed from the rooftops in interviews regarding this tackle, as well as a few others, that happened in their game on Saturday resulting in the CO getting involved.

We as a club said nothing immediately after the game at Pittodrie . In fact at the time most Bears were quite disappointed with Gio's post match interview where he completely downplayed any controversial incidents.

We have to be smarter with how we play these incidents. Celtic shout loudly every time there is one against them which gives the impression they are hard done. We keep quiet, giving the impression nothing untoward took place.

Agree with all of the above...

We let it be known that we "have had discussions" about our 8 points on the poor refereeing - will get us nowhere once again. The Hayes elbows were particularly sickening.

They swamp the (albeit compliant) media complaining about "rough play" - scapegoat player gets cited & you can bet your last dollar that the intention is to ensure that teams & players think twice about a similar approach in future.

According to the Herald the compliance officer has opened a case, looking at his yellow being upgraded to red.
Suits Timothy, if they upgrade the card they’ll say the Ref was biased in giving yellow, if they don’t upgrade the card then they’ll say it’s evidence that the establishment is out to get them.
So that surely must mean that Brown will be cited for blatent simulation and Hayes for serious foul play - ie thuggery. Won't it?

So no Hayes or Brown?

Anytime that thinks we are on a level playing field must have been living in a vacuum for the past twenty years.

Does the ‘Compliance Officer’ alone really decide on matters relating to Rangers and Celtic?

I doubt that very much - he/she is clearly being influenced on who to cite.

it was a shocking tackle mind you, can we not sign him and only play him against broon

As predicted regarding Alloa player.

Fast track complaint regarding Aberdeen would mean Hayes, Brown would likely miss Livingston game. Leave a wee while until the date ties in with Celtic going to Aberdeen the following week. Those that say dont talk nonsense, look at McGinn at Hibs as an example.
That's another statistic that would be of interest - what team has benefitted most from playing against teams missing players due to decisions by the compliance officer.

If one team benefits significantly more than all others then it needs further investigation into why it's happening, and steps taken to correct the trial by Sportscene effect.

So the new compliance officer is a "bear" who has no problem with our player's face being burst open by two deliberate elbows, but has a problem with contact on a Celtic player caused mainly by momentum after a ball winning tackle?

Call me dubious.

It's been said before on here but severe pressure will be put on refs as the season draws in. Fully expect some underhand tactics at the old firm game or after it depending on what happens.
