Nigel De Jong

Is it just me or did he keep calling Sczezny ‘Shelvey’ or something that definitely wasn’t Sczezny

Better than listening to Micah Richards and Rio Ferdinand call me a racist for 'not being an open-borders supporting socialist'.

That was a second yellow all day long.

About time referees were harsher with those stamps on the top of the foot.

I like him. He was extremely complementary on England, yesterday (as was Keane).

Good pundit, I say ;)

De Jong is a quality pundit who talks a lot of sense.
Loved him as a player, broke the play up in the centre of the park and moved the ball on.
Most of the ones on the BBC are gash.

Open borders?

I bet they would complain when people start taking their possessions. You can't have property without borders.

I absolutley despise footballers who try to lecture us about politics. It's like a worm trying to teach you theoretical physics.

Who was the lady commentating on the Poland game? Wasn't the worst but lost me when she said player of the match. They're men, it is man of the match

I can see the logic of non-natives wanting open borders. My missus (Finnish) tried that pish until I let her know it isn't on newcomers to dictate policy and where our house is voting.

It's a problem (being a minority) that they are trying to fix at the ballot.

That doesn't mean that I view it as anything other than subversion. Immigration is a problem to theorists as far back as Aristotle, who viewed it as a weakening of the filia that holds countries and people together, agree. Salic Law says the same. Both are 100% correct.

Hi analysis is great and insightful to listen to.

From a female perspective I think Shelley Kerr is the best one seems to know what she is talking about

ITV been decent so far although the female commentator in the Poland game was horrendous

such a dull voice. She even claimed the Poland goal was a good finish even though the guy scuffed it and it had about 3 different bobbles off his feet before scraping in

the box ticking and having lots of female pundits and commentators is the only shit thing on both channels

At least the producers have done their homework this time. They thought it was quite the coup getting Cannavaro for the last world cup without realising he only knew about four english words.

They won't even do "homework"; they all get a "stat pack".

edit - I suppose that is their "homework".

Officially, according to UEFA, for the tournament they’re called Star of the Match because Heineken sponsor it.

Not sure if BBC or ITV but John Hartson on co comms is dire. He can hardly string a coherent sentence together.

Chelsea womans manager Emma Hayes.

Seemed like more women than men shoehorned into the ITV highlights show last night. All a bit pathetic really. I tend to not watch punditry except for at half time during a match though so don't get as wound up by who's on like most people do on here.

And Ian ‘Wrighty’ Wright, with about as much insight as a desk.

I actually like Wright for some reason. His insight on striking and movement is decent & I like his passion. I'll admit a lot of this is because I absolutely love watching him throw teddies out the pram when England are struggling.

De Jong has been really good and proper swauve. Fabregas is a similar level over on bbc.
