1881 - Rangers 4 (Christie,Inglis,McFarlane,Hill) South Western 0 - Scottish Cup 5th Round Replay (1,000)
This replay had been ordered by the SFA following a protest by South Western over a Rangers throw-in during the game in which Rangers won 2-1.Rangers made no mistake the second time around and gave their supporters an early Christmas present, winning 4-0 in front of 1,000 fans.
1898 - Rangers 10 (A.Smith 4,R.C.Hamilton 2,J.McPherson,J.Miller,N.Gibson Pen,Campbell) Hibernian 0 - Scottish League Division One (7,000)
Earlier in the campaign Hibernian had come closest to end Rangers' 100 per cent record, leading 2-0 at Easter Road before Rangers got into their stride and then taking the lead shortly before the end.Rangers had equalised and then won the game with a last minute penalty and were obviously out for some kind of revenge in the meeting between the two sides at Ibrox.By half-time Rangers were five ahead and added another five in the second period for an emphatic win.

1977 - Aberdeen 4 Rangers 0 - Scottish Premier Division (21,000)
1998 - Stefan Klos finally became a Rangers player. The German goalkeeper had first been targeted in the summer of that year but Borussia Dortmund were reluctant to let their man go. It took until the end of the year to secure the £700,000 move for the shot stopper.
2011 - St.Mirren 2 Rangers 1 (Wallace) - Scottish Premier League (6,711)
Both Lee McCulloch and Dorin Goian were sent off
2016 - Rangers 1 (McKay OG) Inverness C.T. 0 - Scottish Premiership (48,528)

2016 - the last time we won a league match 1-0.

Seems like a mental stat but shows shows how incapable we are of keeping clean sheets and seeing games out.

2011 - when we we went 1-0 up yesterday that game back in 2011 went through my mind for some reason. We ended up with 10 men that day but the general outcome was not dissimilar. Hard to credit that six years have passed since that game.

1977 a long day out for an absolute horsing,, 2011 a late decision of mine to go to the game,, a horrible day weather wise,, got to the stadium and got a ticket from their office, so was in their main stand down towards the corner of the bears end,, we went 1 up pretty quickly ,then the wheels came off after that,

40 years ago today - 4 scud horsing a the Sheepery

Remember it only too well. And the long long trip back as it was in those days.

But winning the treble more than made up for it
