Played against killie reserves at Ardeer thistle, could only whistle players cause he never spoke English, thought he would’ve been sensational for us but wasn’t to beDaniel Prodan
Iv just noticed he had a heart attack in 2016Played against killie reserves at Ardeer thistle, could only whistle players cause he never spoke English, thought he would’ve been sensational for us but wasn’t to be
He scored against us in champions league did he not?Iv just noticed he had a heart attack in 2016
That's who I was going to say, think he was with us for about ten years and always on the verge of a breakthru. The three foreigners rule kept him on our books for God knows how long. I always wanted him to make it but I think he must have been teetotal as Smith didn't trust himNeil Murray. Yes I know he did play a fair number of games over maybe 5 years with us, but I can't remember a single thing he did on the pitch.
Just watched the goals from the final again, remember the Hateley finish but genuinely couldn't remember that it was Murray who scored the first.Seriously?

Aye was put through one on one with Bonner when the Celtic defence parted like the Red Sea. He basically gave Bonner a pass back and it bounces to Miko.Should’ve scored in the 4-2 New Year’s Day game at the piggery if I remember correctly. Scuffed a chance and miko scored I think
No no and Noooo He was important in securing the first of nine . If I remember well scored in his debut v Hamilton at home and on the day we clinched title v hearts scored 2 in a four nil win . Tom Cowan also scored .Mel Sterland
Didn’t know about given, was my first old firm game at the piggery that day. Decent debut, four goals aff them bomber kickin a yahoo about, kuznetzov scoring plus the bench singing the blue bells are blue towards the endAye was put through one on one with Bonner when the Celtic defence parted like the Red Sea. Shay Given was on the bench for them that day.
Aye, League Cup final win over them. Think he only made one other appearance in a Rangers jersey.Did he?
The league cup final win was the following season he was there mate.Aye, League Cup final win over them. Think he only made one other appearance in a Rangers jersey.
I remember going to Forfar away in a cup tie. And he scored his first goal - it was about minus 10 and he took his top off in celebration. Very strange day.Juan Manuel Ortiz or whatever he was called. A winger I think?
He played a few games but I can’t remember him doing anything of note.

Rothen was with us 2009/10 and the cup final win was 2010/11
got beat in league cup final against them 08/09
He was absolutely chronic! I remember being excited with the signing on the last day of the transfer window.Jerome Rothen takes a bit of beating.
Ugo Ehiogu doesn't get mentioned much.
Gary Bollan, signed along with Clelland and played a total of 11 games due to injury, I can’t ever remember seeing him play.
First name that sprung to mind was Stéphane Guivarch.
Joined Newcastle after winning the World Cup and then joined ourselves. Played a handful of games and just looked disinterested at all times.
Dan Eggen signed at the same time and never played.Sorry, I was talking about Bonnissel. Think I quoted the wrong post!
Wikipedia says he only played 3 games for us. I would have said it was more than thatThomas Mhyre
He passed awayIv just noticed he had a heart attack in 2016
He was in the same Senegal WC squad as Amdy FayeMakthar ndiaye for me
Played 3 games for us then never played anothr game of football anywhere in his life
Played a number of big games, including the treble winning cup final game against the sheep where he scored and the 94 new year game against the scum, 3-0 after ten minutes, when he nearly scored, the rebound being netted by Miko, I think. That's who I was going to say, think he was with us for about ten years and always on the verge of a breakthru. Wouldn’t have thought him obscure or even a poor signing.Stephen Wright
