A guy ran into my car about a month ago and as a result I had to go to the doctors a couple of days later with a sore shoulder / neck. The doc just said up my dosage of ibuprofen etc and call back if it doesn't help and she'd prescribe me something stronger. Never got any better so got prescribed some stronger painkillers etc which did help but I still have some discomfort in my neck, especially after playing football.
Anyway, I have legal cover with my insurance and they put me onto a solicitor to make a claim for me. The did so and arranged an appointment on Monday with a private doctor in town so they can check my out for the claim I guess. Anyway got a letter in today saying the guys insurance has admitted full responsibly and they'd like to offer me £1500 without seeing any medical evidence. They said if I can let them know if I want to accept before attending my appointment on Monday.
They always say don't accept the first offer but not sure if anyone's had any experience of this at all? I've not been back at the docs since my initial visit and it is much better but don't want to end up with nothing..
