Police called in at St Mirren over financial irregularities

can folk stop trying to rewrite history and stop sounding like Chris Sutton.

Hearts only had to draw at Dundee, and the league was theirs.

celtic only lost 4 away games all season that season.

st Mirren only won 3 out of their 9 home games the second of of the season, there was a reason for this they were sh!t.
Ok mr angry calm down. The way St Mirren lost that day was a disgrace so dont try to tell others their opinion is worthless.

Their training ground , for their exclusive use, was funded largely by the local council

They did a deal between Tesco , The council and themselves to sell the old stadium to the supermarket chain and the council sold them land at rick bottom price at Greenhill Rd / Ferguslie Park Avenue

The old love street was for commercial use only but lo and behold a couple of years pass and the land is rezoned by council for new housing!

It all stinks but not one journalist looked at it in any detail
Is this the training ground at Bathgo Avenue in Ralston?

Renfrewshire Council had a £45 million black hole in their accounts over the last couple of years. A former leader of that council is now sitting on St Mirren's board. The whole setup between the club and Kibble and other orgs is very, very suspect.

I remember Reporting Scotland years ago doing a feature on Renfrewshire Council being the most corrupt in Scotland and their connection to the local ‘Gangsters’

A town the size of Paisley with one taxi firm. Nothing to see there

They were one the loudest to shout when we were in trouble. Last season they were one of the teams desperate to call the season

Renfrewshire Council also funded their card displays for the 2010 and 2013 league cup finals

Only lost four away games? Is that not pretty shit form for league winners in Scotland?

I believe the term for that is financial doping

The entire story of St Mirren move from Love St to Ferguslie was financial doping Likewise the Ralston training ground. Love street was sold for housing and Ralston will be next. For those that don't know the area Ralston is the most expensive houses around. Just past the Glasgow boundary it's still part of Paisley. This land is worth a fortune.

Gilmour and Mclachlan were the people in charge when this went through. They never made as much as they thought they would but still made plenty.

Gilmour has a business selling hockey gear. He moved it from Blackhall st to Clark st in anticipation of the rail link spur to the airport.

The club is now run by Gordon Scott who is reputed to be a multi millionaire. Their fans have a thing going to buy the club back from Scott.

It's rancid.

Throw in Mhairi Black and it stinks to the high heavens. :)
